Recommended. Catjinni Survivors is actually a really fun surprise. At first it looks like a cute cat survivor game, but once the action starts, it gets chaotic fast. The hand-drawn art style gives the game a lot of personality, and the gameplay loop is very addictive. You pick your cat, survive waves of enemies, collect upgrades, and slowly turn into a little magical disaster machine. It has that “just one more run” feeling that good survivor-like games need. I also really like that the game can be played both normally on PC and in VR. The PC version feels cleaner and easier to follow, while VR makes the chaos feel more intense and funny in a different way. It is not trying to be the biggest game ever, but it has charm, fun upgrades, cool ideas, and a lot more personality than I expected. É o encontro improvável entre gatos mágicos e hordas implacáveis. Catjinni Survivors brilha ao entregar builds extremamente apelonas e uma estética árabe/mística que foge do comum no gênero. A jogabilidade é fluida, o sistema de evolução é sólido e a satisfação de limpar a tela com raios e explosões mágicas é garantida. Ótima pedida para quem quer um desafio rápido, mas profundo.

Um ótimo jogo de horda, ainda mais com essa pegada mitológica, em que você pode upar seu personagem com poderes dos deuses. Fora a personalização que pode fazer antes de iniciar, e o melhor, ainda tem a versão para o VR! Então aproveita que está bom!

Recommended 👍 Catjinni Survivors is a really fun and satisfying bullet-heaven experience with a unique charm of its own. The gameplay feels smooth, the progression is rewarding, and there’s a nice sense of replayability that keeps you coming back for “just one more run”. What stood out to me is how satisfying the progression feels. Unlocking new upgrades, experimenting with different builds, and pushing further each run gives a strong “just one more try” feeling. The game is easy to pick up but still offers enough depth to keep things interesting over time. You can clearly feel the passion behind it, especially knowing it’s made by a solo developer. It has its own identity while staying true to what makes the genre fun. I enjoyed it enough that I’ll definitely be going for 100% completion on my Steam Deck during my free time. nice rouge-like game. Der Tag / Nacht Wechsel und die Beuchtung ist richtig gut. Die Menüführung mit dem Charakter, auch wenn man nicht VR spielt,find ich mal eine nette Abwechslung (man muss keine gefühlten km laufen). Das Artwork find ich richtig gut, auch wenns Katzen sind. Runs well on Steamdeck.

I really like the 2D hand-drawn art style. Bonus is you can play as a CAT mage XD I would say it's challenging for me but still it's fun even if I'm not great at it XD I had a blast on stream where my viewers trying to beat my times through trying out the demo. Even if you just try the demo first, it’s worth the look! I've only played the standard mode of the game as I don't have VR headset. This is a solo developer did a great job here. Much love <3

Catjinni Survivors hat mir schon in Flat echt Spaß gemacht, weil dieser typische Survivor-Loop einfach sofort zieht. Man macht einen Run, levelt hoch, bastelt am Build rum und denkt sich die ganze Zeit: komm, eine Runde geht noch. Ich kannte das Spiel also schon, war aber trotzdem gespannt, wie gut das in VR funktioniert. Und für mich: überraschend gut. Vor allem der 3D-Sound macht echt was aus, weil dadurch alles deutlich präsenter wirkt. Dazu kommt eine richtig gute Steuerung, wodurch sich das Spiel angenehm direkt spielt und nicht wie ein halbherziger VR-Port rüberkommt. Optisch hat das Spiel sowieso seinen eigenen Charme, und in VR kommt das noch mal schön rüber. Anfangs wirkt das UI vielleicht ein bisschen voll, aber da kommt man schnell rein. Für mich ist Catjinni Survivors schon als Flat-Version ein richtig guter Titel, in VR aber noch mal einen Tick besser. Mein Video dazu: https://youtu.be/NawhZBvbCu0

In VR mode: I have no idea which button on the Quest 3 controller opens the lobby settings and upgrade menu. Controlling attack direction with the right VR controller joystick is extremely awkward and prone to mistakes. Suggestion: Change it to pointer-based aiming (similar to mouse & keyboard mode, where the attack direction follows the cursor).
