Catio Simulator pleasantly surprised me because I'm not really a cat person but the game runs in a money gain/business kind of way while people who do like cats can pet away and love them... Its probably a game that would have passed me by but now I want to finish it which I didn't expect, Attract cats to your Catio, build a better space for them then adopt them out for better petting power... Catio Will drag you in and before you know it the cats will be ruling your life just like IRL! Thankyou for the key the game is amazing and I'll be pushing to try finish it 💚💙

I can appreciate an addicting cat game

I just bought this version but I have 7 hours in the playtest and more on the earlier demos. TLDR, I love it and think it is well worth the price! Catio Simulator is the cutest clicker game I have played. The developer loves cats and this really shines through in his attention to detail: the meowing recorded from his actual cat, the way they will walk on top of and annoy one another (resulting in a need for more pets), the way they will sleep under or on top of anything, etc. I also love the excellent cat names: as I write this, Asparagus, Holden, Sox, and Tofu are all sleeping on different tiers of a bookshelf together. My favorite part might be watching the kitties play with the active items like basketballs. The gameplay is well-crafted, with a big unlock tree to fill out and progression goals to help guide you. But you don't need to follow them: there is no downside to taking your time, idling, or doing your own thing. (The cats will still love you.) The music (written and played by the developer) is very relaxing and adds to the cozy vibe. There are also some thoughtful customization/accessibility options that I really appreciate, like being able to toggle cat outlines or pet cats by hovering over them rather than actively clicking. Overall, it's a fun, relaxing, and cute game about building the perfect catio and helping cats get adopted. It is on the shorter side, but totally worth it!

A delightful incremental game with great art and music! More than worth the price of admission.

this game is awesome. its very relaxing, its fun and its one of my favorite game styles... pixelated!, its so cute, you can expand your catio, it has nothing to stress over, you can go away from your computer and it will pet and adopt your cats for you and make alot of money/coins (once you do a upgrade), it has a crt effect slider, you can change between day, night or a day/night cycle, so i recommend purchasing this game.

First off, wanted to say I LOVE this game. The concept, art style and how it plays makes me smile. That being said, I have a few wants that could make this game far better with a wider appeal: -I should be able to adopt my own cats for myself to hang at the catio that are separate from the "catpacity." I fell in love with so many just off look -I want to pet the cats past their "pets" limit -I think the "select cat" and "pet cat" controls should be swapped. Feels weird to primarily right-click in an incremental game -Adopting out: I'd love to see the cats actually going to people in the window and them looking happy/hearts rather than just disappearing into the ether -My favorite Cat PANDA who I was purposely keep just randomly decided to leave for the door without me hitting "adopt" and I didn't even get the the $4K in adoption credit for it. I saw another cat I had for a long time walk away so I quickly clicked Adopt or I wouldn't have gotten credit for that either. I think it's weird they decide to leave on their own after a certain amount of time :( -Auto clicker and adoption become available way too fast -It would be cute if the cats sometimes "bonded/paired" to each other. I see that they get hearts passing each other sometimes so it's halfway there anyways. If some of the above changes were implemented, I could see this being a little desktop companion with longterm play and DLC potential

SO CUTE! I especially liked the cat sounds-- the chirpy little mrrrrowts are adorable. Very satisfying to unlock fancier and fancier items for the catio, and to tailor your catio's furnishings to keep your fave cats happy. Really pleasant way to spend a few hours!
