About
What is Catgirl Gemfall? It's BATTLE-PACHINKO and collecting trading cards with CATGIRLS? It's a coin pusher game that combines puzzle, luck, trading cards with addictive scoring gameplay. It's a physics sandbox. It's the new dopamine machine.
Ever heard of a coin-pusher card battler? Nope. Use ACTUAL PHYSICS to trigger score combos, morphs, and explosive chain reactions as gems tumble, multiply, and rain down the board. Summon the Gem Fairy, mess with physics, and get lucky in a fight against the evil spreading corruption.
The definitive Catgirl-arcade coin-pusher experience.
🐾 Score big by testing merge effects between Catgirls.
💎 Unlock new arenas, every Shrine is a puzzle within itself.
😼 Convert rival Catgirls anyone you beat, you unlock!
✨ Unleash abilities: icy blasts, magnetic pulls, gem storms, and morphing coins that defy the rules of physics.

Every drop is a new disaster (or jackpot) waiting to happen.
Deploy skill (and a little luck) to:
Flood the board with gem storms and fairy blessings
Morph silver coins into ingots, magnets, or gem-spawning chaos
Exploit physics, edges, and sometimes just outright lose (or cheat)
Drop coins, cause chaos, and let the gems fall — Catgirl Gemfall isn’t just about shiny treasures. It’s about saving the Catgirls, building a team and saving the world!
Booster Pack DLC on the horizon ;)

Well, I do love cats, and I think coin pushers are fun. So, needless to say, I got suckered in. But sadly enough, I only played for about half an hour. It promised me a dopamine factory, but instead, I got a bit of a slumber. The game's pacing felt incredibly slow to me. Pretty much, I was just sitting there, waiting for something to happen, which felt more frustrating than fun. Like, c’mon, on with it. Give me my dopamine hits. Pretty much, you have two players on your side, who each have three coins, and you can’t even binge drop them. After that is over, you must wait for the other side, which also has two players (enemies) and three coins each. On top of that, despite the tutorial, some things remained unexplained. Like the little the little hamster-ish thing at the bottom with wings. Sometimes he stops, and I think, emphasis on think, he sometimes stops at a spot, and you need to get something from the ledge there to have diamonds. Think. Because, well, it isn’t explained. The random “get one booster pack” after winning was a surprise, too. So far, it’s only been one every time, and it’s a card. It didn’t really tickle that part of my brain much either. To be honest. It feels off; it’s there and not doing anything. One pack with one card. My very first was one I already had since it’s a starter. So I thought, oh, maybe it levels, maybe I get an extra coin or a small score multiplier. Nope. It did nothing. All in all, I don't have much else left to say. In this state, I cannot say I enjoyed it. I know it’s a solo dev that means well, and I do feel like the idea is there, but the execution is lacking. It needs to be thought out more, cook longer, possibly get input from creative – not me probably – beings! Have some playtesters, maybe, there are people out there, if they have the time, who enjoy doing that. And yes. There are a few fun elements in there, like the different coins on each card, which add some variety. The cards don’t look too bad, but then again, the playing area or field or whatever I should call it, looks and feels so flat. I genuinely don't like the machine or the background. Although I’m not the biggest fan of everything AI. I also don't like to judge it too hard. I feel it's so 50/50. It can be a helpful tool, like a creative (white) board, or when you don't know something, and you ask, " Hey, could you source places where they explain how to code x or y, so you can learn about it. Yet the comment of not being able to pay an artist, like I get it, but still. And maybe it came out wrong and wasn't meant the way I read it, but to me... Phooh, it doesn't sit fully right with me. It’s like people would pirate the game, same mindset after all, they didn’t have money to pay for it. Sorry if that sounds blunt, but it is a bit the same vibe there, you know. I’m just trying to provide overall ‘food for thought’ as we would say. To give some insight because I just can’t help but wonder: wouldn’t it have been better to wait then, or to scour around to see if there was someone who wanted to help for a lower price or for free to build up their portfolio or something, anything, rather than this? But then again, I’ve never been in a developer's seat, so what do I know. As someone who’s very lenient with games, it saddens me to say I cannot recommend it. And that says a lot tbh. I don’t easily get turned off, but I guess it does happen once in a few blue moons. Perhaps in a very distant future, when it has some updates, I might return and check it out again, maybe. But for now, I’m going to stray away. And because I do believe the dev has good intentions, I’ll be rooting for you to make something cool out of it and wish them the best of luck on their coding journey, sniffing out bugs, fixing, etc. The text needs a bit of scaling it seems VS a hamster-ish being between cats? o_o Oh boi! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3649618142 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3649618418
I would be super grateful if you could consider following me over at the following places for more first looks, reviews, recommendations, etc:

| My first looks | ~My YouTube channel. This game has so much potential, seriously. It's already addictive and has a lot of fun elements, I think turning it more like a roguelike could do wonders, adding powerups and more abilities and strategies would be amazing. However I cannot condone the heavy use of AI. I hope the devs can pay a REAL artist to develop the art, because there is real potential in this game.
This game is amazing ! Ive loved coin pushers all my life and being able to play a game thats main goal is to get as many items over the edge for points as possible is fantastic! Instead of focusing on how many plays I have left, I get to focus on the skill part of dropping items to get the most over the edge, The music matches wounderfully to each level, the items are treasure vs just pushing coins. I enjoy the art work and am excited to see how much this game will develope in time since its in its early stages.
Game would be fun and probably will be in the future if the developer pays attention to the feedback. Although I got my money back that doesnt mean i wont buy it again. Game feels like its stacked against player. Can't get past round 3. Game froze on first card pack created. Im going to keep an eye on this and after a few updates if theyve addressed the current issues ill buy again and try it out and change my review.
