Interesting game. Creepy, Jump scares that gave me goosebumps, which never happens to me. So much dread, not wanting to take another step forward, yet I am compelled, I must complete it. I intend another play through. Very much worth it.
legit in my top three games
Thanks bestie Mojave <3
this is the best game i have ever played in my life
Exceeded my expectation. It's not very long. Maybe an hour and a half if you rush through it. Even if you did that, I'd personally say it was worth it. It's nice though it does have achievements, random hidden ♥♥♥♥, and a fun shooting range minigame. The style though is crazy. Made me think of a mix between Texas chainsaw massacre and manhunt. Definite buy if it looks interesting to you
A genuinely affecting experience that never sacrifices it's story for padding or cheap scares. An instant favorite of mine!
I LOVE YOU MOJAVE......guhhhh!
awesome game loved it hope we get more this game will have you on ur toes!! did a whole youtube series on it
I actually enjoyed this game! There were a few points that had me laughing a lil bit like mojave dancing in his kitchen. Overall it was fun and I am happy I took a chance in playing it
Visceral, strange and unpleasant. I played it through twice to see some things I had missed, but wasn't bothered about acing the mini games in order to get 100% achievements. This game is an upsetting peek into the life of somebody having a really weird day. It was tense and kept me on my toes, checking behind me and second guessing everything the characters said to me. I loved this hot dry and heavy atmosphere of uncertainty yet the inevitability of fulfilling my role in the story. Great worldbuilding, with a lot of clues to the circumstances of the setting, but enough ambiguity to leave things up to interpretation. Art is subjective of course, and I do not know the intent of the creator/s, but alongside the interesting characters and the brutal gore, the game made me consider the absurdity of giving human values or attributes to other animals in nature, and what that might look like. How we might perceive their natural behaviours as cruel or monstrous, in contrast to our own, yet also holding up a mirror to the cruelty we can also be capable of. It also touched on responses to trauma, how we are capable of crossing over that boundary of "animal" to enact intentional harm or cruelty as a response to our circumstances, or just because we can. Our greatest evolutionary survival trait as humans may be empathy and community, but as tool users with supposed higher intellect, we have invented a multitude of ways of killing each other. Both the player character with their gun and the other characters have an equal potential for violence. And this game is incredibly violent, and despite all that I've said above, it is also absurdly fun with a lot of charm. How can something revel in violence and shock for entertainment while pretentious losers like me claim it is critiquing it? I don't know. Life is full of contradictions. The same way this game has characters that indeed commit horrendous and unforgivable acts and yet I still find them endearing due to the animation and art style and writing.
