Cat Chess

I've really enjoyed seeing the recent updates. Each new patch makes the game feel more polished and enjoyable. One feature I'd love to see improved in a future update is the battle camera. Right now, when two cats start fighting, the camera often simply zooms in from behind one of them. Because of this, it can be difficult to see the combat animations clearly, and sometimes the entire fight is blocked by the cat's back. For example, in this scene at 8:35, the camera shows almost nothing but the back of one cat during the fight: https://youtu.be/UF_FkhzPgY0?si=FJW5SvGQpaCTTQpy&t=513 It would be amazing if the camera could automatically find the best cinematic angle for each fight. This would make the battles much more enjoyable to watch and allow players to fully appreciate the animations. I'd also love to see more fun, varied, and creative battle animations in the future. If you ever release a DLC that adds new combat animations, I'd definitely consider buying it. I think it would add even more personality and replay value to the game. Thank you for continuing to improve the game. I hope you'll consider this suggestion for a future update.

Less than an hour into this game I have 2 takeaways: 1. Wow what a fun twist on chess especially if you like cats 2. The MMR in this game seems very off, its rather my Chess.com MMR is really low or the CPU skill is way off as I beat one bot in 3 moves at 500 MMR, and beat the 1000 MMR bot in less than 5 min, which is just surprising for me as I'm 1110 MMR. Overall fun game, get it on sale to save a few bucks.

Awesome little game made with care. Had a blast playing! I don't know very complex moves or plays but managed to win a couple of matches. The animations are very funny and the fast forward click button let's you blitz through when you want to try out something that involves a lot of moves. Overall the presentation is fun and charming. Would love to play it on the go. Hopefully a switch port is on the way.

Overall this is an enjoyable game with a lot of potential a few things that need improving. 1. achievements are great and pushes you to see a lot of the animations but they are easy to achieve, honestly too easy. (after less than 2 hours I have achieved all of them) id love to see more. 2. the bot is very repetitive and the elo is very off, as 900-1000 elo on chess.com I set the bot to 1000 for about 5 games with the bot as black and every time the start was E5, D5, A5, H5 so it was very easy to repeat games for wins/to get achievements. 3. the campaign was fun but because of point 2 i found it no challenge so would like to see more levels with a greater difficulty over time. 4. there is little to no online community ATM so I hope this improves over time, I got lucky for the win an online game achievement as I believe someone joined my game by accident so after a long wait the game was over in 14 seconds by forfeit with no pieces moved. Overall I really enjoyed it and as many others have said, if you're looking for chess with cats would highly recommend. the animations are great and its a great twist on chess. looking forward to hopefully more to come.

Игра очень забавная. Привлекает всех с ней познакомиться не только своей графикой, но и интересным сочетанием кошки+шахматы. На первый взгляд все классно: стилистика, анимации взятия фигур, игры с пешками с помощью указки и клубка... Но. Играть можно только с пешками и у всех анимация одинаковая. Следы лапок режут глаза при увеличении. Нет привычного счетчика очков сторон (это же все таки шахматы). Кампания состоит из 10 глав, где ты последовательно просто играешь. Интересно было бы добавить какой-то сюжет, кат сцены. Ведь нам показывают вражду между белыми и черными, но почему так произошло нам никто не объясняет. За 30 минут игры в пвп-онлайн мне встретился только один человек, который вышел спустя полминуты. На данном этапе игры я не готов тратить на нее 250руб, даже по скидке, вернул. Думаю позже я вернусь к ней, если разработчики решат сделать ее лучше.
