Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
12 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 404.5/day in the week to Jul 15 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
🎮 Reseña de Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2

[th]Aspecto[/th][th]Puntuación (0-10)[/th][th]Comentario[/th]

Jugabilidad7Sólida y vistosa, aunque no siempre fina.

12 on sale3 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 3 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 12 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

[first paragraph is personal context feel free to skip reading for review] Many years ago I watched my dad play Lords of shadow 1 back on the PS3, didn't remember much past the first 4 or so chapters. years later, I buy 1 & 2 for my self on pc, had fun playing through 1 all the way and was unsure how 2 would go based on how the ending(s, including DLC) went. I still oblivious what 2 looked like going into it, heard from a friend it wasn't great but still wanted to give it benefit of doubt. first 20/30 min in LOS 2 I can already tell its not as great as 1, hours of playtime later still on that feeling, I'll finish the game over time but I can tell it won't be super enjoyable. ~ ~ ~ ~ The beginning is a little slow to get the ball rolling, giving explanations, tutorials, fairly basic. but the way it locks the character to pan the camera for the new thing. SO. Often. gets a little tiring, maybe I just lump it in with the game being of its time (though still not pleasant). A bit later the climbing starts to seem worse too, almost like you Need the red icons to know where to go. Now I'm not saying 'Put yellow paint where I need to go' but with a theme of the game having the decor it does it doesn't present climbing well all the time. LOS 1 did a perfect job on knowing where to go (ok yes except the one flying boss, that one confused me At First). Another small bit I was confused about was why switch the Grab button and the Item button? maybe it'll make sense later (although ~4 hours through and I doubt it will). Another small weird thing I notice is the game refuses to alt tab, can't press Windows to check a Discord or do a quick search, even Task Manager wouldn't pop up over the game, it opens behind it. so you Have to close game to do anything else (if I remember right 1 wasn't that way). General combat seems alright so far, Thankfully. The other thing is travel time, and while maybe there's a later upgrade the sprint is Shorter than it was in the first one (where I am at so far at least), on top of that the non-loading screen thing is neat and all but it still feels like a drag to back track, way less enjoyable than 1 [but yes, I know, Metroid-vania, kinda expected a tad] but if only there was a Menu I could.. oh wait.. that would mean a loading screen. Maybe I'm the odd one out but did people want that to be removed in favor of doing all the backtracking manually? I guess on console maybe the load times may have been longer than I remember but on PC (or at least the one I have) loading in LOS 1 took 3 seconds tops. I really Really hope this game gets better the further I get into it, I do plan to finish it but I won't care about not 100%ing it. unlike the first one which I might go back to later to 100% at some later point. And the part my friend told me about that was weird that its Modern time era doesn't bother me a whole lot after the first 10 min of it (yet, we'll see) Overall. ~4 hours in, game feels same-ish but also worse in some aspects, could have some smoother elements to it to save some time (locked animations over and over that I'd love to skip (Rats)) but for 2014, could be a hair better, But I guess older hardware. 5.2/10. and that's generous. so if you had a story like me and wanted to check it out, it will Not Top Lords Of Shadow 1, not that its 100% perfect either but it was very good

By far the best 3D Castlevania. It's not the original storyline but its pretty insteresting and well done. In terms of gameplay its a very fun hack n slash action combat but with the additional of good movement improvements for 1x1 and AoE situations based on the whip upgrades. The artwork is one of the best of the series, backgrounds, sculptures, furniture, figurines... all extremely well crafted. Every single room is worth of be a desktop wallpaper.
I loathe this game. It's disjointed, it forces you to play the game the way it wants and in my opinion its way worse than any of the other ones.
