This game has potencial, its simple and fun but: - First player advantage with some decks makes no room for comebacks - Its stupid to say that the game is pay2win, its a card game and as in real life, you got to buy booster packs o enhance your decks BUT you still need to reward the player , 5TH Cell. this game needs more ways to get free packs, not currecy. maybe a free daily pack or unit? Magic the gathering arena has various ways (and fun ways) to get more packs. - They say they added a hotfix about gpu/cpu usage. it improved this issue but still pretty high compared to games that have high graphics. - its """day one""" and I played against lvl 40+ players that maybe played in a closed beta I believe?, this gives them too much advantage in terms of card collection and possibilities. we all need a fair start. maybe reset all accounts and give consolation gift for previous testers?. I suggest to partner with a cardgames streamer and add twitchdrops to gain popularity Again, its simple and a fun game but If must make a lot of changes and fast or it will die like 70% of multiplayer games on steam.
I've been having a lot of fun with Castlehold in Early Access so far! The matches are around 5-10 minutes with each player having a constructed or pre-build deck of 10 cards with a unique commander and "battlefield" as their side of the board. I have had some quick wins, some quick losses, and some great back and forth matches. It's really nice to have a fresh, free to play card game to experiment with decks and card interactions. The queue times are fast, the losses are motivating, and the wins are addicting. I recommend you give it a try!

Castlehold has a quite simple base principle, which is quite a bit different from most card games. Players have only a single life, and units move around on a battlefield, and I like this principle. At the moment the game is still in a quite early phase, and it is quite rough, however, the developers did quite a good job in the last 3 days to patch the game. - Start player advantage was made smaller - First balance patch was applied, which makes a certain 2 card combo less dominating - Several performance patches were deployed (and some bugfixes) With this done in just these 3 days I think the developer will also manage to improve the game further in the future, and at least for me, it is really interesting to see the process on how this game will change over time. THIS IS AN EARLY ACCESS GAME, a real one, where feedback can change things, and where the game is actually still in early development. I expect to see huge changes to the game. (Progression, factions, base stats, a lot of card changes, a lot of new cards etc.) So if you want to play a finished game, this is not for you, but if you enjoy to see the journey of a new game, being improved by your feedback, this is a game for you!
Very good game. Fun and easy to learn. One of the best games I've played in a long time. I hope the mobile version comes out soon.
Great game, easy to learn and very funny
Классная игра, жаль только, что я единственный, кто в нее играет
simple quick fun
I felt ripped off when it's free.
