Incredible so far… 9/10 I can’t believe how awesome this TCG is. Bravo!! **Pros:** - Crypto integration - Fun, beautiful sound FX - Daily quests are nice - Great gameplay - Can duel my friends **Cons:** - No in-game chat or social features - No “My Leaderboard” position available - Missing 2v2 or 1v1v1v1 modes - Hard to ramp from CB to TroveToken Looking forward to more cards and game features.
TLDR - good or even great card game system, BUT used for nefarious purposes, to abuse, extract, enslave. Also, possibly worst part is - you can't even play the game vs players even if you wanted to, there's a facade of healthy player base "wait time for an opponent less than 30sec" BUT they never tell you that if no player is found you will face a bot and crucially - THERE IS NO WAY TO OPT OUT [Review WiP] When the game was announced I stayed away on purpose, because of the reputation most of us are familiar with, associated with this company. But when I eventually tried the game, I fell in love, where was a void for a good card game and here it was, but.. We have to decouple the game itself, it's system, away from the way that it's being used. The game system itself is great, innovative, truly this is good stuff from the people that came up/assembled it. Let's look at the mechanics: * Alternating activations - (the combat system is same as in HS) Instead of "u go, I go" (whole turn), it's a shared round and "I do move, you do move, etc." [It's a direct improvement of the system, that has happened in the wargaming scene in the last couple of decades as well] * "right into the meat of it" - there is no gradual buildup of resources and thus boardstate (it might seem). Every turn you get back up to 5cards and get 5-10resources [up next] . So from the beginning of the game you get to make meaningful plays, instead of the typical "1drop pass, 2drop pass" . And the buildup is actually still there, the board state will evolve and escalate, depending on the current situation (ex. who has board control, what units are on the board). Now you might think "oh so I just dump my hand/ play as much as I can, because I will get a refill" . Again surprisingly no, you need to make interesting decisions like "do I use this removal now (basically for free) but on a poor target OR risk it by keeping it and predicting a better payoff in upcoming turn or so. To clarify, the cards don't get discarded if you don't play them, you keep them and then you can mulligan any of them before drawing back to 5 at the start of the shared round. [this system might be from the new Yugioh (Blitz or smth)] [Review WiP] * Dynamic Resource System - * "Heroes fight back!" - * "mix and match" factions - [Review WiP] So all of this is great, why the negative review? It's the way this good if not great game is being used. - Enter Corruption. Scarcity conditioning It's set up to extract money from you, not to have a great game and the financial success being a byproduct, but to have a good enough game, so that the scarcity conditioning could take hold. You are conditioned by design to feel bad for playing the game after 2 matches [that's the way quests are set-up] If you don't want to feel bad, pay up for a subscription (what I mean is NOT a one time purchase), and for 1-1,5 months that will be alleviated, but it will cost something outrageous (I will not look it up) , but atleast 20euros . So in this story Ubisoft is your abusive spouse/lover and a vampire. and your choices are: either be a slave and jump thru hoops for scraps, and feel bad for playing or become a bloodbag, pay your monthly tribute and now your allowed to enjoy yourself (just don't forget next months tribute) Now would I recommend this? Yes and No. Go, try it out, enjoy it , see it's potential. And then walk away. Before you get sucked in, and if enough people walk away, maybe they will try to compromise, a bit atleast. I think this is the greediest game I have encountered. The most recent update pushes it even more. I expect it to die, and hopefully some-one else will be inspired by the game system and do it justice, not a tool for evil. Personal anecdote Have a bad day > go play game > conditioning kicks in (instead of playing for fun, jump thru hoops, to get pack, to get good stuff, make mind go brr and feel better) > get crap > feel worse > go to sleep > have nightmares > next day, rope in your kids to do the hoop jumping for you [the slave has become the slaver..] (happy ending) - realized what have I become and quit. So yeah this story is about vampire drug dealers and their prey :I TLDR - Very good game, used in a very bad way. This is my post when I found out that you are secretly put to face bots [without the option to toggle it off] "Damn.. so here I thought it was just some bad apples ruining the game for other people.. but well what do you know it's actually a "feature" a disingenuous one, the impression the game falsely gives, always 30s wait time, never mentioned anything about bots.. really upsetting, did my best to enjoy the game, recommended it to friends. But this is a critical thing to address for the long term health of the game. . Either make it possible to opt out playing vs bots or some other form of that, if you still want to keep the facade, make it that you don't lose rank when conceding IF it was a bot. . For now sadly this has soured the game for me personally and I'll be moving to WylderNook (which has an opt out toggle for bots) (and complete opposite in terms of player rewards than M&M Fates), give it a look, hope to return when things are better ❤️ " TLDR - good or even great card game system, BUT used for nefarious purposes, to abuse, extract, enslave. AVOID and Go check out Wyldernook ❤️

As a long‑time fan of the Might & Magic series, I came into this game with high expectations. I’ve bought and enjoyed many Ubisoft titles—Heroes of Might and Magic V, The Settlers: Rise of Cultures and others—so I naturally hoped this new entry would carry the same charm, depth and craftsmanship. Unfortunately, Might & Magic Fates – Heroes TCG falls short in several fundamental ways. 🌟
Positive Aspects

A genuinely new resource system
Might & Magic Fates – Heroes TCG introduces a fresh twist on trading card games (TCG) economy design: every card you draw generates gold each turn and that gold determines what you can play. Unused gold disappears at the end of the turn, so your options fluctuate wildly depending on what you draw. If you pull five cards that each generate 2 gold, you start the turn with 10 gold. You might play five 2‑cost cards, two 5‑cost cards or even just a single cheap card and waste the remaining gold. It’s a system I haven’t seen in other TCGs and it could have been interesting—except that your draws are completely random, making luck far more decisive than strategy.
Beautiful artwork
Ubisoft’s art teams remain exceptional. The visual style echoes the elegance of Heroes of Might and Magic V: French‑inspired architecture, ornate fashion, detailed unit designs, lush scenery and striking spell effects. Might & Magic Fates – Heroes TCG is also undeniably beautiful to look at. ⚠️
Major Shortcomings

Severe deck‑building limitations
Building a functional deck is nearly impossible without spending money. The in‑game currency rewards are tiny—you log in daily, click the sign‑in button and receive a disappointing amount. After many matches, I’m still stuck with the starter deck: weak common units, low‑impact spells and barely any card variety. Legendary units? I don’t even have an uncommon unit. My infantry cards crumble instantly in battle. High‑level spell cards? None, unless I pay real money. I refuse to spend a cent, so my deck remains hopelessly underpowered.
Only PVP, no solo content
The game offers NO single‑player mode. No AI duels. No campaign. No challenges. Just PVP—and you don’t earn any in‑game currency from PVP either, which makes the progression system feel absurd. Ironically, most of my matches were against players using the same starter deck, which shows how inaccessible real deck progression is.
Clear pay‑to‑win mechanics
The only reliable way to obtain strong cards is to spend real money. Players who buy powerful units and spells dominate matches effortlessly. Ubisoft advertises the game as free‑to‑play but in practice it’s free only until you want a competitive deck.
A disappointing experience overall
I’ve already uninstalled Might & Magic Fates – Heroes TCG. There are many better trading card games available—ones that respect your time, offer fair progression and don’t lock basic deck viability behind a paywall. Be a sensible player. This game isn’t worth the investment unless Ubisoft dramatically improves its economy, content and accessibility.
P2W monetized to the brim M&M slop which will shut down in 2 years or so, terrible UI, no protection aganist getting card duplicates. Don't play it please
I don't usually like to review games still in early access but sometimes my spidey senses start tingling and I need to say something. Mechanically the game itself is decent enough, it's different enough and stands out from a sea of Hearthstone clones, but we need to address the greedy elephant in the room: https://steamcommunity.com/games/3918850/announcements/detail/676250550367422789 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3739291559 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3702181354 This game is still in early beta, still only has a third of all the playable factions, still only has a SINGLE champion per faction... and yet they're already heavily shilling monetization, battlepasses, and "limited time" cosmetics. As a long time Might & Magic fan I want this game to succeed, I really do, but all the signs and red flags are there that this is going to be a dine & dash on Ubisoft's part. A year or two from now they're going to pull the plug and shut down the servers. You just watch. It's with a heavy heart that I give this thumbs down recommendation, because I really like the core gameplay.
没有新手福利,日常奖励也非常少,金币难以获得并且卡包价格高昂,30多局40局了,我还在用微调的初始卡组,也不能合成卡牌,0氪很难玩的下去,目前不推荐
Ubisoft… Dear Ubisoft. You destroyed one of the best card games ever made — Duel of Champions. And now you have the audacity to come back with this? You couldn’t even be bothered to create new cards — you just reused graphics from Duel in many cases. Shame on you.
Отвратительно несмотря на всю мою любовь к героям и карточным играм. Берсерк Герои Онлайн в разы лучше и визуально и геймплейно.
