About
Cast Out Colony has been described by its players as a blend of Animal Crossing, Cult of the Lamb, and Vampire Survivors. It fuses roguelite gameplay, bullet-heaven action, and intricate town-building components to craft an entirely distinctive experience, redefining the survival genre. The meta-progression is located within the colony itself. The larger you grow your colony, the higher your character's stats become.

Pass. Runs aren't much fun and the base building/house keeping aspect doesn't help this any.
I got it on a whim since one can never have enough indie roguelikes At first it feels just like every other. But as soon you can build your own town, it actually has a personality of it's own. Lots of fun so far Only onw issues I saw so far, and is how long it takes for the villagers to gather once you summon an assembly 8/10 Recommended, can only get better from now on.
Amazing combination of city-builder and survivor-style combat. I'm still beginning, but there seems to be a lot of things left to unlock, so looking forward to it.
One of the best games in the genre I've played in a minute - the way those sections and the town building weave together is insanely satisfying.
The base building is fun, but the gameplay itself is a bit underwhelming. Still a positive recommendation, but it can't compete with the bigger names in the genre imo.
This game is an absolute gem! From the moment I started playing, I found myself completely immersed. The gameplay is incredibly fun, and it's so easy to lose track of time because of how enjoyable it is. Whether you’re managing your colony or exploring new territories and fighting diverse enemies, every moment is engaging. The graphics are simply awesome, with detailed environments that really bring the game to life. And the difficulty? It’s perfectly balanced. There’s just the right amount of challenge, making it accessible for casual players while still offering enough depth for those who want to test their skills. If you're looking for a game that combines strategy, adventure, and a well-designed world, Cast Out Colony is a must-play! Highly recommend it!
Cast Out Colony is a fun survivor game with a theme similar to the Pixar movie A Bug's Life. You play a bunch of misfit bugs who have to build their own village. The survivor aspect of the game is pretty standard but it is still very fun. The game sets itself apart from other games with it's light Animal Crossing style village building. In between runs you slowly clean up and build your own bug village. The various town upgrades unlock all kinds of stuff to increase your odds at surviving in the arena, but there are also decorations to build your colony with as well. The villagers who join your colony are randomly generated, and they are quite adorable. If you are a huge fan of the genre you might find the game a little light on variety, but if you like your survivor games a little more casual and filled with bug people definitely pick this game up.
Cool Game !
