What's this? A Point and Click, "Who Done It?", Murder Mystery Visual Novel, set in a Gothic Hotel on top of a lonely hill, during the Night of Halloween?
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
You've read the description. It's pretty self-explanatory. If you're in a mood for a short, about 2 hour long, visually-heavy mystery game that's just right for the autumn season, then why not give this a try?

However, if the free Halloween candy doesn't convince you, then read onwards.
Step into the shoes of Casey Noir, an immortal, shadowy detective, who was invited to a Halloween party at a gothic hotel by a familiar face.
Unfortunately, the reunion is cut short when one of the guests is murdered, with the murderer being one of the guests still present.
Investigate the hotel and its surroundings, chat with suspects, collect evidence, and dig to the bottom of what's exactly going on this Halloween. The masks of the party-goers conceal, detract, and lie.

sadly...the only thing this game has going for it is the art. which...in the sense of a point and click game is sometimes too stylized to properly know what you are clicking at. what's more, the game relies on "telling", not showing. there are literal walls of text.... and we need like a 5 minute epilogue to explain why the murderer did it. and even then... the motivation is paper thin....
There's a sad story at the core of this game. I liked it, it made me sad. This game isn't the most flushed-out, game wise nor story wise. But I liked it. I'd like to encourage the dev(s) to continue honing their craft, because there was potential in this game. I really like the art as well, it's very cozy. Mr. Double Trouble had my favorite character design.

the endin got me cryin like a mf
Rough around the edges for sure, but definitely worth checking out! Interesting story, nice environment and artwork and fun gameplay! (though the gameplay is definitely subjective) Characters are interesting design and personality wise. Pretty sure this game took me about 2 hours to complete, steam always messes up my recorded time for some reason :/ Also, the epilogue sequence was peak.
Really awesome project! And being totally free, there's no reason not to give it a go. The visual artstyle is the standout. While it took me a while to get used to the exploring the point and click hotel, once you've figured out the layout, and the mystery properly starts, it was really cool to start figuring out clues and investigating. Every scene is beautifully drawn, a visual feast for the eyes. The mystery itself is really well done and paced well to be done in a 1-2 hours. All of the characters are cool as well. And especially most of all, for a mystery/deduction game it nails the ending conclusion, with an extremely cool epilogue and finale that was really exceptional. Even if you don't find it perfect or gel with it totally, just being free and seing the visual creativity on display is worth, so I'd highly recommend to anyone to download it and check it out! Very glad I stumbled across this on my days on the internet.
great little narrative experience. if you like visual novels, mystery, or autumn vibes, you can't go wrong here! the art is immaculate and the grooves do set the scene. it has subtle dialogue, none of that "grab you by the hand" feeling, though the mechanics of the mystery-solving aren't that complex, you just explore to gather evidence and bring it up in the right moment. there's little issues (?), like some uncannily silent scenes, and the very confusing settings menu, but for a game this pretty and FREE, it's very forgiveable. give it a tryyy!
Captivating. Truly a powerful experience. Other pretentious words. But I did really love this. I was there more for the characters, as murder mystery type of stuff isn't really my thing. And the characters were to die for. It's always the kindest one that dies first though... Sigh... Where was I. Right, the murder mystery part seemed top of the line, but that's coming from someone who doesn't really know what she is talking about. Idk, ok, so... The game is like two hours. And free? If you have read this far, you should just play it.
Отличный сюжет, классный художественный стиль. Если вам нравятся визуальные новеллы, эта на удивление бесплатна, и я не понимаю почему. Хорошая игра для начала сезона Хэллоуина, стоит того! Great storytelling, cool art style. If you enjoy visual novels this one is surprisingly free and I don't understand why. Nice game to start off spooky season, worth it!
Incrível arte, boa música e uma história envolvente. Se ao jogar você presta atenção o suficiente fica claro quem fez isso, mas a história ainda guarda boas surpresas.
