I gave it a shot on the Try It Out mode. View is too zoomed out, then zooms in for some kind of action camera bs. I have a huge tv for a monitor and it was still too zoomed out. The gameplay in the steam video is mostly just the zoomed in parts. Menu is bad. Spellcasting is unsatisfying. Martial abilities aren't anything special. Just hit things once or hit things twice. The only thing, and I mean only thing, this game has going for it combat-wise is the ability to affect the terrain. Aside from that, combat is a boring slog with a lot of unhelpful clutter in the menus. I could see someone enjoying this but, I wouldn't respect that person's opinion on games.
Enjoying the game so far, buuuuut... the NPC AI is retarded. Allies will shoot you in the back, and blast you with fireballs if you dare stand in between them and the enemy. XD
If you want a FF tactics or Ogre: tactics type game then this is a great example of one.
Not terrible, but far from the best. I had hoped that this could scratch the seemingly insatiable itch that the FFT series has long since imposed upon me, but it just doesn't. Gameplay wise? It's alright. The combat wasn't hard to learn and the visual turn order thing is a nice touch. Graphics? They kinda stink. It looks like a good artist was forced to use old, ill equipped software and only given 10 minutes to complete each character. I suppose it has some degree of charm, but it's not my cup of tea. The levels are huge despite the low movement range, I think this was to compensate for the large amounts of units on the battlefield at the time. In theory, this would make battles seem bigger and more dramatic, but in practice, it just makes the game feel slow and underwhelming. Lastly I hate the UI. The text is small and looks out of place. The icons are alright, but it all looks really messy and out of place. And don't even get me started on the esc menu...
One of the best job based tactics games on PC.
ainda está em desenvolvimento mas é um excelente jogo, extremamente viciante.
Fun game, have enjoyed the time I've put into it so far!
A very good game, remember tactics ogre and final fantasy tactics, I loved it, hope that the developer continue including new stories, missions and more... also more classes etc.
Yeah its a fun game. If you ever played and like Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced you'll probably like this game. They're still updating and adding to it too so I imagine it has a lot more growing to do. My only request would be to let the characters hold their current weapons during battle or maybe add more variations to the armor types. But yeah it's a fun game, I definitely plan to play some more after its recent update. Maybe add workshop support at some point? Idk those are just suggestions btw lol. Possibly add some time of character customization? Even just colors at least, I know you guys are shooting for that "Tactics Ogre" "Final Fantasy Tactics" kind of game but there's plenty of room for innovation considering most of those games are about 20 years old. Just a thought to ponder lol, anyway thanks for working on your game, your passion definitely shows in your work and its a fun game. Also maybe team colors so I can distinguish the difference between my teammates and the opponents even if its blue or red/green. Idk I only make suggestions because i want the game to be as good as it can be and it certainly has potential.
great game so far i like it.
