Carnival

Затянула не сразу, "много букв" в рамках заставили задуматься а не зря ли я ее купила. Но по ходу сюжета сомнения развеялись. Персонажи - живые, колоритные - что особенно заметно на заставках в диалогах. Жутковатые - почти все. Художнику (ам) - зачет. Немного истории, мистики, драмы. P.S. Пса жалко.

While more visual novel than I recall his last game being, with the ending being the only time I really felt like I was playing a point & click game, I still enjoyed my time. As an artist, the author has grown by leaps and bounds, particularly in his faces, which were fantastic! The story was quite good and ended on a fascinating note. As a point & click game: 6/10 As a story: 9/10 Overall: 7.5/10

Brilliant game with an amazing atmosphere and story.

Recomiendo mucho Carnival, junto con los otros juegos de Beyond Booleans. Carnival es una historia de terror que va creciendo poco a poco, muy ambiental y con personajes llenos de matices. El humor es oscuro e inteligente, comienza retratando una ciudad cerrada y opuesta al fascismo de los años 30 por fidelidad a una tradición todavía peor. He disfrutado mucho las opciones ofrecidas al periodista protagonista, y el giro final. En los créditos finales se comenta que este juego está basado en una novela del mismo nombre, escrita por el mismo autor, Jacob Prytherch. Este juego es la mejor recomendación para leer el libro.

great writing, well paced and atmospheric.

Carnival turned out to be a great game, with a very interesting take on the mythos! It's amazing what a solo developer with an idea and passion can do. It seems that a sequel might be hinted at and i will be watching out for it.
