This game has a HUGE selection of card games. But that's it. There is nothing special about this collection. And they all need a lot of work. There are tons of options missing. And a lot of the games have missing rules. The developer needs to play a few other card game collections to see what I mean. (Not too many on Steam to take example from. Might want to look at some well developed mobile games, like Card Shark Collection on iOS or Android for example.) There is no UNDO option in the solitaire games. No option to turn off auto-flipping the cards. No option to see the discard spread. (Can only see top card. Klondike deal-3 for example deals 3 cards. but you can't see the 2 underneath.) Some games are missing the ability to take the discard pile, flip it back over, and go thru it again. (Klondike seems to be the only one that allows you to do this. Pyramid and Spider are missing this, probably more.) Some games are bugged like Pyramid. (I went to drop a Jack on a 2 to remove it from the pile and it simply removed the Jack. Then I went to drop a 9 on a 4 and for some reason it took the 6 next to it. 9+6 does not =13.) But the most important thing that is missing. Deal animations. The cards simply change instantly. You can't see them moving into position. Which can lead to confusion sometimes as to what happened. [Deal animations have been standard in card games for at least 15 years. Not sure why that was left out. It a big one.]

You cannot resize a windowed screen so that you can watch shows in another window; very important at my house. This windowed screen takes a lot of real estate. I did not experience any full screen issues except it does shut down when you change modes. I did not experience the unwinnable games issues either. I've only looked at two games. In Klondike solitaire, you cannot move a partial build of cards from one stack to another to play a trapped card. There’s no law against that. But, here, it’s not allowed. Nor can you recall a card from the final stacks into the playing field. Sometimes that move can win a game. There are also NO UNDOs. This game does not know when you’re out of moves. You have to know that for yourself and quit. “Are you sure you want to quit?” This game also does not know when you’ve obviously won the game. No auto-complete. You have to click each and every card to their destination. And when you’ve won, you get no fanfare; no piccolo playing jesters; no jackhammer marching bands. You get the bland, intentionally polite voice of your valet from the Grand Budapest Hotel saying; “Congratulations. You have won.” If he’s not being facetious (not so sure about that) we’ll grant he is polite. Speaking of Budapest, I DO like the music. Not sure I would buy it for the music. Almost though. In Canasta, you have to pick up and discard as quickly as your robot friends or else you will get reminded every time. “You have to pick up a card please.” Or “You have to discard please.” Again, you will have to decide if you detect any condescending tone. Just know that, if you turn down the voice track, you’ll miss out on any bland verbal “congratulations” at the end of the game. Do we have a good solitaire collection here on Steam? One without trolls or fairy princesses or anime cartoons? One that would compete with Microsoft? I would like to entice my mother to join Steam. As far as I know, this one shows the most promise. Definitely needs some touch up. To be clear, there really isn’t any hotel or valet. Just the voice. Curiously, I realize a slightly cynical valet, bored out of his mind, may bring a welcome change to the usual fanfare because, truthfully, he cannot feel any real pride in my accomplishments after all.
I really wanted something I could just play a few hands of cards with when it wasn't possible to get people together to play cards but so far I've played two different games and they don't seem to actually know the rules to the game. I have never played with the rules they use for Euchre or Hearts and it just doesn't work for me. Does Hoyle still make card games for PC? Felt like cards again and the Solitaire is unlike any other, rules wise. The poker had three of a kind and two pairs split the pot. Where did they get the rules for these games.
basically a nice collection, the Hearts rules are just wrong; it allows playing the Queen of spades or a heart on the first trick, totally bogus. Never crashes, and a wide selection so there's something for everyone in the family.
This game cheats at Cribbage by not counting all the points I'd scored pegging, laid a 3 down for 25, got a go, laid another 3 down for 28 and received one point instead of the three I should've received for the pair and the go. I don't play with cheaters!!!
I bought it for basic card games. Lots of variations but missing common rule options and variations for hearts spades cribbage dominoes and euchre. if it works for you great but for me it is lacking basic game play options and is not a product I would recommend .
After a certain point I couldn't get good enough cards to win any game. The other "players" with cards anyone with a brain would fold, and they would still beat me every time , The game sucks. Even more suckage, sorry I bought it and I still keep trying.
Just what I was looking for........... I love playing Poker and Blackjack. Lots of choices for card games. Hints and help with the new card games I don't know yet. Recommended.
tired of MSN so called free games
非常齐全的纸牌合集,好评!
