ACABEI DE ZERAR CAR MECHANIC SIMULATOR 2014 FORAM 46 HORAS OLHA... QUE JOGÃO, VIU? PASSEI HORAS E HORAS NELE, DAQUELES QUE VOCÊ COMEÇA A TARDE E QUANDO VÊ JÁ VIROU NOITE. E NÃO FOI POUCO TEMPO NÃO: PLATINEI TUDO. TODAS AS CAMPANHAS, TODAS AS MISSÕES, TODOS OS CARROS DESMONTADOS E MONTADOS DO ZERO. FIZ QUESTÃO DE PEGAR 100% DOS ACHIEVEMENTS. OBS: PRINT NO MEU ALBUM DE FOTOS PARA PROVAR (:_:) E SABE O QUE É MELHOR? EU RECOMENDO DEMAIS O JOGO. NÃO É SÓ "MECÂNICO DE ESQUINA", NÃO. VOCÊ REALMENTE APRENDE ONDE FICA CADA PEÇA, COMO TROCA MOTOR, EMBREAGEM, SISTEMA DE SUSPENSÃO... É AQUELE TIPO DE JOGO QUE TE RECOMPENSA PELA PACIÊNCIA E ATENÇÃO. TODA VEZ QUE VOCÊ LIGA UM CARRO QUE TAVA TODO DETONADO E ELE RONCA LISO, É UMA SATISFAÇÃO SEM IGUAL. PLATINAR NÃO FOI FÁCIL. TEVE MISSÃO QUE FALTAVA UMA PEÇA AMALDIÇOADA ESCONDIDA, TEVE CARRO QUE EU QUASE DESISTI DE ACHAR O DEFEITO... MAS FUI ATÉ O FIM. E VALEU CADA SEGUNDO. ENTÃO SE VOCÊ CURTE JOGOS DE SIMULAÇÃO, OU SÓ QUER APRENDER UM POUCO SOBRE CARRO DE UM JEITO DESCONTRAÍDO, VAI FUNDO NO CMS 2014. VELHO, MAS DE RESPEITO. RECOMENDO DE OLHOS FECHADOS. 🚗🔧🏆

I kind of started playing this on a whim because it was sitting in my library and I wanted something requiring low attention and focus to chip away at in between meetings at work. I have a background in working on cars, as it was my previous career and I am an enthusiast car owner, so this should appeal to me in a very big way but it kind of was just.... okay and oddly disappointing for the type of game I should have no expectations for. The word "simulator" is used incredibly loosely here, nothing in this game is how cars actually work. Like at all. They didn't even get removing wheels right. You never have an impact in the game, always use ratchets, but remove wheel lugs while the car is on stands.... it feels like the kind of thing where this was made by people who have never actually worked on cars. And yet, I still enjoyed my time because it did exactly what I needed it to do, be a zero stress, satisfying game to fill the time. I would almost describe this as more of a puzzle game, because the act of actually removing, installing and repairing parts quite literally could not be more straight forward, you literally just point and click. The overwhelming majority of the game is spent doing diagnosis, which, fair, this is basically how it is in real life too. At the same time however, I was never quite able to shake the thought that I am playing something labelled "Car Mechanic Simulator" and just removed an axle in 2 seconds by ratcheting 1 singular bolt. Oh how I wish that was how cars actually worked..... The tunes on the shop radio are lowkey bangers though, I'm pretty sure they are just royalty free tracks but they had me jammin'.
The motor oil tastes a bit funky but the game is good.
Euro and American Truck Simulator had an undeniable effect on how I perceive video games. Had I not given that open-road lifestyle a chance, I never would have bothered with a grease-monkey simulator. But that experience opened my mind, and now I am actively expanding my gaming horizons. My history with this specific franchise is a bit backward. A few months ago, the 2018 installmen, which I believe is the third entry, was free to keep. Being the digital hoarder that I am, I gladly added it to my collection, though it sat unplayed. When the entire franchise went on a massive sale recently, I decided to finally bite the bullet. With the fifth game looming on the horizon, I thought it would be a fascinating experiment to start from the very beginning, working my way through the sequels chronologically to truly appreciate the growth, evolution, and polish of the series over time. So, what does the price of a single donut actually buy you in the digital garage? Because Steam sells this as the Complete Edition, the sheer volume of content is staggering. Between the 75-ish main campaign missions and roughly 30+ extra levels spread across the 4x4 and 1/4 mile add-ons, you are looking at over a hundred cars to diagnose and repair. One client might just need an air filter swapped out in sixty seconds, while the next requires a full-on, soul-crushing engine disassembly that easily devours half an hour of real time. Much like my beloved truck simulators, this is an incredibly therapeutic and relaxing experience, just focused on a different kind of labor. It engages your brain, forcing you to systematically inspect components and pace back and forth across the garage floor trying to figure out exactly what is causing that phantom rattle. The game respects your intelligence by offering little to no handholding, leaving you to learn the ropes through pure trial, error, and intuition. While there is an endless mode for those who want to settle in forever, I will be skipping it. I have absolutely gotten my money's worth here, and with three more sequels waiting in my queue and a fifth game on the way, I need to roll down the garage door on this chapter and keep moving.
Yes.
This game taught me about some car parts, but it's sometimes difficult to do some things to the cars, overall it's an okay game.
