Reviews
Playing this game is like visiting the Mall you used to go to growing up. It's now abandoned and empty, the nostalgia is there, but nothing to do. No gameplay mechanics are implemented yet... you can either do the same race over and over or accept small jobs, nothing else..
As soon as I saw that someone was reviving the old Car Town, I almost shed a tear. It was a game I loved as a kid, and I hoped every day that someone would try to bring it back. Nothing but praise for these guys. I’m writing this review before even opening it (I know it sounds nostalgic, because it is), but I’m sure they’ll do a great job, and their courage alone in bringing back the glory of CAR TOWN deserves recognition. I’ll keep supporting you, playing, and waiting to see this masterpiece finished! Thanks again for this gift you’ve given to old nostalgics like me. Nothing but love for you

facebookta car town olarak oynuyordum çok küçükken beni resmen eskilere götürdü çocukluğuma döndüm resmen çok güzel ben beğendim biraz daha yeni geliştirmeler için sadece oyunun zamana ihtiyacı var <3
AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGG!! NEEDS A BIT MORE WORK BUT THE FUNDAMENTALS ARE THERE!!!
I AM VERY HAPPY THIS GAME IS BACK. Now someone just needs to remake backyard monster
The game genuinely has potential to bring back the beloved Facebook original, however as I playtested it there are many issues. First and foremost it's faithful, too faithful. All assets this game seem to come close to the original or are most likely ripped, however a lot of textures and models suffer from poor quality to the point where it hurts the game. Rather than trying to mimic the design, I'd much prefer making entirely new assets and give the game some fresh air, this can mostly be applied to NPC's, banners and map elements. Garage customization used to be done in a grid setting, however snapping an object into place to align them simply doesn't work and a lot of trial and error is needed to make the garage look good. Lots of furniture is still missing too, but I can forgive that with the project barely being out yet. Lastly I'd like to point out that since the game is in a very early access, lots of game mechanics are very primitive and at times don't work properly. A good example of this is the daytona minigame where sometimes your input doesn't get recognized, in fact a lot of the game's hitboxes are oddly placed and it takes a while to figure this out. While I don't think this is a promising project and the development of the game heavily relies on community input, I'll continue to look out for the game's future and maybe contribute to one or two things.
its alive! ITS ALIVE! - Dr. frankenstein cant wait to see even more updates hit this game and give this beautiful monster the volts it needs to come back to life fully! -edit: until this guy gets his act together and actually figures out how to update the game frankenstein's monster is dead on the slab..... i cant endorse this game in its current state and id gladly refund if possible.
