Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 20 → 0.33/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Captain Bones: A Pirate’s Journey is an open-world survival adventure from World of Poly that attempts to capture the fantasy of pirate life through exploration, naval warfare, crafting systems, and survival mechanics. Rather than focusing entirely on cinematic storytelling or linear mission design, the game places emphasis on freedom and player-driven progression, encouraging players to build their reputation while navigating dangerous waters filled with opportunities and threats. Its ambition lies in combining multiple genres together into a pirate experience where exploration and long-term growth remain central to the adventure. The game follows the rise of Captain Bones, a pirate seeking to establish himself within a dangerous world where survival and ambition constantly collide. Instead of guiding players through a rigid structure, the experience leans heavily into sandbox design. The journey unfolds according to player decisions, allowing exploration, treasure hunting, combat, and resource gathering to shape progression naturally. The world encourages players to create their own stories rather than simply following predetermined paths. Survival systems serve as one of the major pillars supporting gameplay. Maintaining supplies becomes important during longer journeys, forcing players to think beyond combat encounters alone. Food management, crafting materials, and equipment maintenance contribute toward creating a world where preparation matters. Sailing into dangerous areas without sufficient planning often creates problems that reinforce the game's survival identity. Crafting systems expand progression considerably. Resources collected across islands and coastlines become valuable tools for advancement. Materials contribute toward building equipment and supporting longer adventures, creating a gameplay loop built around exploration and preparation. The crafting mechanics strengthen immersion by reinforcing the feeling that survival depends on effort rather than automatic progression systems. Naval combat naturally becomes one of the experience's primary attractions. Ship battles place players against hostile forces across open waters where positioning, timing, and tactical awareness influence outcomes significantly. Cannon exchanges create exciting moments while ship management systems reinforce the fantasy of commanding a pirate vessel rather than controlling a simple combat platform. Victories feel rewarding because success contributes directly toward progression and expansion. The game also understands that pirate adventures involve more than combat alone. Exploration remains one of its strongest qualities. Islands scattered across the world encourage players to leave established routes behind and search for hidden rewards. Treasure hunting becomes a major motivation for exploration, reinforcing the pirate fantasy effectively while creating satisfying moments of discovery. The world itself contributes heavily toward atmosphere. Sailing between islands while storms, open seas, and distant coastlines shape the journey creates some of the game's strongest moments. The freedom to explore dangerous waters at your own pace helps establish immersion and strengthens the feeling of living within an unpredictable pirate world. Progression systems remain varied enough to support longer play sessions. Combat improvements, survival upgrades, equipment development, and ship enhancement systems provide multiple goals that keep advancement feeling meaningful. Rather than limiting players to a single progression path, the game allows different priorities depending on personal playstyle. Crew systems further strengthen immersion. Building operations and maintaining larger pirate activities reinforces the fantasy of becoming something greater than an isolated adventurer. Progress gradually transforms players from struggling survivors into more capable pirate captains with stronger tools and greater opportunities. Visually, Captain Bones favors atmosphere and world scale over technical perfection. Ocean environments, islands, and pirate-themed locations help establish a convincing adventure setting even when presentation occasionally reveals independent development limitations. The ambition behind the project remains visible throughout much of the experience. The sound design contributes positively to immersion as well. Ocean ambience, environmental audio, and combat effects help reinforce the feeling of life at sea. Music supports exploration naturally without overwhelming quieter moments, helping strengthen atmosphere during long sailing journeys. The experience does encounter rough edges in certain areas. Some systems occasionally feel less refined than larger productions, and balancing progression alongside survival demands can create moments where pacing slows more than expected. Players seeking highly polished blockbuster presentation may notice technical limitations during longer sessions. However, the game's strengths come from freedom and ambition rather than perfection. Captain Bones: A Pirate’s Journey succeeds when it allows players to pursue treasure, explore dangerous locations, and gradually build their reputation through personal choices rather than scripted direction. World of Poly built an experience aimed directly at players who enjoy pirate fantasy combined with survival systems and open-world progression. Its combination of crafting, exploration, naval combat, and resource management creates an adventure capable of producing memorable moments despite visible rough edges. Players who enjoy sandbox exploration, survival mechanics, ship combat, and pirate adventures focused on progression rather than strict storytelling will likely find much to appreciate here. Captain Bones: A Pirate’s Journey may not reinvent the genre, but it delivers an ambitious pirate experience that captures the excitement of chasing freedom across dangerous seas. Rating: 8/10

Petit jeu d'aventure modeste. On passe un bon moment, sans plus.
Gostei bastante do jogo e me diverti muito jogando.
Cute attaching little game. If you expect a polished game, better take this on a sale. But if you want an unfinished but fun game, and have the money to afford that kind of expense, then go on. It's nothing big in it's current state, it's a lackluster game, but it's a game worthy of that name, and nowadays, with EA, even that is rare. Worth $9 not $15.
Мало. Очень мало всего.
