«Cannabis Farmer Strain Master»
Absolutely NOT worth more than $5.00 in its current state. Right now they are charging $22.00 for it. Don't reward the kind of people who rip people off like this if you care about the future. Their focus seems to have been to create a game with graphics that will look nice in still clips (screen shots) which, upon purchase, has almost no actual content. There are mods created by regular steam users for other games that offer more content than this entire game. You can throw soda cans and other absolutely pointless "Easter eggs". Apparently they've implemented features like this rather than worked on the two systems which are obviously the most important aspects of the game: A realistic simulator of plant growth and genetics and a realistic trade and economic system that consists of anything more than a couple of shops, all located on a street in the middle of nowhere which your character can visit. It lacks a system that allows for the combining of traits of different strains in various ways, allowing the player to create new custom hybrids. And why bother with the trouble of designing a genetics system at all if it isn't scientifically accurate? It's all mathematical and can be quantified and programmed. Only a matter of intelligence and effort to create a revolutionary game rather than an embarrassment. Why not spend a couple of years laboring collaborating with others to create something great, since you're going to expend the time and energy anyways and reap quality proportional to what you've sown? (Lame pun concealing wisdom intended) If they didn't have the resources to invest in and create a detailed and interactive town on the map, they could have made various shop screens and menus to get around it and still easily delivered a more complex and interactive trading system (RPG-style). Doing a little bit of research, they could have created something that simulates running a legitimate seed company like Greenhouse Seeds, rather than something that poorly simulates the life of a drug dealer, giving it more complexity and allowing the game to appeal to a larger audience. Even if they really wanted to create yet another "drug dealer" simulator to compete with all the rest, to have any hope of making a truly profitable game they needed to put more thought into it. The game could have a greater depth and vision if they knew what they were doing. It would seem that they don't have the passion to actually study botany and put genuine effort into this, or hire various experts to help create a genuinely groundbreaking and award-winning simulation game that would make them stand out from the rest. Their game will however, inspire someone else to take the concept, modify it and create a much better game. LOL Imagine a gardener who works for an award-winning seed company ruining all of his hard work by chopping it up with a ninja sword or throwing stars in order to harvest it; the people who designed this game thought that would be a cool idea, and harvesting this way has no effect on the quality of the harvest. When the average player can think of more practical ways to improve this game than those paid to design it, perhaps you should question their intelligence. Even if you want to have a good laugh and are willing to pay upwards of $20.00 for it you're better off supporting your favorite comedian, because they undoubtedly work harder, put in more of a genuine effort and likely charge less for it than the developers of this game.
Wish i could put hell no on the recommended. As a game developer myself i am very easy on games. I try to look at everything in the game and judge it for how it is and how it plays not just looks so here it is. 1. Says VR and is NOT: I feel this is a very big deal i have a game on steam and i would not list a game can do something and it doesn't work i bought this game because it says it is a VR game 2. Your plants are not set up in the save system so when u leave the game all your plants will vanish thats game breaking right there 3. THE HUD IS BROKEN: The hud shows nothing i have restarted the game 4 times and still HUD is broken so this is a issue i can not see how much money i have or anything else all and all this game is far from done and needs a ton of work it could be a great game but as it sits now its not there is a lot that still needs to be done but the fact the plants DO NOT SAVE is a very big issue also i have no idea what the hell is up with the damn safe but u got to push the button to open it a dozen times to get it to stay open. TBH the big reason i am refunding this game is the DAMN SAVE i would never release a game with a broken save system. Also fix the mouse at the start when a game starts mouse should be disabled but its not and u have to open the escape menu just to get it to work. Lots of issues with this one.
Overpriced as ♥♥♥♥. These devs probably sell dimes for $15 to the burbs.
first 100 plants review so bit of a learning curve as you are dumped outside the shack with no tutorial as it where but easily picked up from the in game menu so far good fun game harvest tools are bit gimmicky but makes it fun few bugs to iron out but look forward to see where this game is heading definatly worth the money compared to other similer games would love to see more random events i.e bugs eat plants or random amount of seeds given back when chopping plants more strains/breeding fix jump mechanic lol some kind of inventory/backpack to switch between nutes/trimming tool etc bud trimming minigame???
Finally, a growing game that looks amazing. The Plants look freaking real and the atmosphere is really good. Super fun game to play and pass time. I like how when you collect the bud it springs up when you collect it! The safe is pretty cool also how it fills with more money are you collect more cash. Can't wait to unlock one of these ninja stars to harvest :)
There is nothing to this game... drop a seed 2 minutes later ( after adding a few bags of fertilizers and other stuff and you miraculously have buds.... I hope the Devs take this further then this.. at this state it is a waste of money and time
nice smooth game
Little bit of a learning curve at first but lots of fun. The graphics are incredible, looking forward to some more content, wish this was out in VR too! Love the unlockable ninja weapons for harvesting lol.
