Amazing game, the difficulty makes me rage sometimes tho. 5*
I'm not the platformer type, but I was actually surprised by this game's quality. And the music is quite good, too!

I've got say this game changed my life, I love the gritty style and the fast paced game play. Got say can't wait for a sequel, should cost £50
CandyVenture
I went into this game expecting some pretty subpar things. Of course, as is my goal, to slam really bad games made from con men and people who think indie means "bugs are features", I caught onto this game. What attracts me to these games are 3 things, simple graphics, little to no reviews and free games. Let me say that as soon as I started this game my mind was already changed. Pros - Music is great, there's different music for every screen. - Sound effects are on point and effective. - The game works. - There's a pretty good perk system which I honestly didn't expect. - There is cause for the player to revisit levels due to advancement of perks which makes things feel a lot more fuller. - Nice story, enemies make sense. Cons: - While I love the perks, the ones I can't see irritate me slightly as I don't know what I have to do to unlock them. As it wasn't apparent I did assume I just had to get more candy? - Some more sound effects would do this game justice, like a very very slight buzz from the wasps/honeybees. Just small things to fill things out a little more. - While the art style is minimal I do feel as if more could've been done in the underground areas, as on the surface the world actually feels a lot more alive with trees and bushes. Maybe more cobwebs, more rocks, shiny stuff, not a whole lot but a little sprinkle more. It's genuinely hard for me to come up with negatives for the game as there isn't really that many when you take a step back and look at the game from the bigger picture. It's not a brilliant or fantastic game, but it is a great game, something I'd enjoy casually playing on and off to escape boredom and freshen my palette. That's exactly what this game is, it's a palette cleanser. It's a drink of water, it's a thin slice of that yellow melon before you eat your next meal (if you eat that fancy way). I'd safely say I'd recommend to anyone to play this game if I knew they liked platformers, that is of course, if they keep the game free after this pandemic. If it goes back up to 3.99 (british monies) then I'd maybe have second thoughts and say "You should buy this game, but only when it's 0.99 at 75% off." The game is still fairly unknown and has not a lot of reviews and right now it's free, so pick it up and give it a play and write an honest review. 本来以为应该挺简单的,没想到要手-_-
While I wholly disagree this is a souls game, it is very fun. Better than some of the titles I've paid for!
Fun and very nice looking platformer with some metroidvania elements. Also now it is free!

Awesome game developed by an awesome person. :) Definitely worth to try because it's free. \o/ :)
