A strategy game with a new kind of enemy, Calyx puts you in charge of a space mining outpost, locked in battle against powerful plant-aliens. Build your base, gather resources, assemble your forces, and take on the Calyx. With only an out-of-date AI for company, can you survive?

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

A combination RTS and base builder with a brand new kind of enemy, the Calyx are a group of powerful plant-aliens that, left unchecked, quickly spread to control swathes of the map.

As the only remaining occupant of an Avaris Corporation deep-space mining vessel, you’ve arrived in orbit around a barren-looking planet. While you’re trying to get over being frozen for more than a century, you’re dropped to the surface as the ship’s AI outlines your Ore mining targets.
Build a power network, set up Harvesters and refine Ore before sending it to orbit for Credits. Build walls and turrets to protect your base. Deploy tanks and artillery to push the Calyx back before it gets too strong.
Balance your base’s energy requirements carefully to avoid vital defences being down on power.
Secure rare deposits to improve your mining and military capacity. Connect to booster buildings for additional power, mining and healing buffs.

Will you establish a strong defence, or attack the Calyx before it spreads too far? Dig in and build a massive force, or adopt a mobile and nimble strategy? There are many ways to defeat the different varieties of Calyx. Start your base wherever you like, experiment and develop your styles of play, and learn to cope with different scenarios.

Protect Data Archives to gain Research Points, and use the tech tree to unlock and upgrade more advanced units and buildings. Unlock the Inferno flamethrower and watch the Calyx burn! Build the Unit Workshop and manufacture the Goliath, a massive, multi turret tank, and boost its speed with hover technology. Unlock Orbital technologies and fire a devastating laser beam from orbit.

Protect and power communication arrays to access the corporation’s deep space network. Scan the Calyx roots to learn more about how these hostile lifeforms function. Discover new and dangerous Calyx variants as you battle to gain control of the planet and try to find a way home!

its good
Novel and fun concept, really enjoying what the devs are doing with this so far.
Calyx hits different. Creeper World vibes but with vines - horror mode when the enemy starts crawling surrounding, cornering and adapting to ur actions u stacking defenses, stabilizing the grid and push out also it got this basebuilding loop I love straight up C&C vibes with resource gathering and base upgrades slowly clearing the map gives mad satisfaction. long, brutal maps, challenge/skirmish sliders and seeded runs for insane setups - replayability baked in tactical, rewarding, challenging and addictive as hell

S Tier combat and resource management game.
I finally pulled the trigger on this game. For only about $20 it's an absolute no brainer if you enjoy RTS games. Especially those inspired by Command and Conquer but also a little bit of Total Annihilation. It's simplistic at first but reveals its depth at a wonderful rate. I love that the game is effectively a turtlers dream.
Not a fan of liquidators, they go out of the main game loop too much. Pretty much the only strategy against them is turret creep with orbital laser and it is not very fun to play against an enemy you can't realistically use units against.
Had lots of fun can be pretty challenging on higher difficulties too if you like that, i would definetly recommend if you like games like creeper world and command & conquer, feels like a great mix of those 2 games
nice game
A really good RTS, especially considering it’s still in early access. A ‘classic’ basic concept, in Dune 2 style, with the addition of several innovative features. One of the few RTS games I’ve actually enjoyed in many years.
