This game nearly broke me. I hate you devs, well done. lmao edit: I beat the game in 11 hours, not 175 hours as is currently displayed. you got me again.
The demo was a dynamic (in a good way) annoying quest + challenge mini-games with an inner voice responsible for humor according to the law of the genre, but the full version begins with a very difficult "escape room"-style quest, which I'm even too lazy to overcome, the demo was enough for me, and the drawing is not very good, the authors went the wrong way, as for me, also overpice. Do you miss the days of dial up? Jonesing for that modem noise? Call hating is here for you! I recommend the fax machine as a source of outlet for your frustration. Great game, frustration sim based in 90s tech. Streamers will love it. I currently do videos on it for yt and its a blast. And remember, when all else fails..... Call customer support... Oh, theres no actual support? Sounds legit to me!
Fun little puzzle game that's surprisingly deep. This doesn't suffer from any insane puzzle game logic that's impossible to parse - everything is ridiculously realistic. The animations are cute and charming, and everything 'works' like you'd expect it to. The 'final' boss fight is sort of annoying but not too bad if you just keep spamming commands. Now just to figure out how to get to the secret endings...
This game is the perfect mix of frustration and fun. You will get pissed off, but you'll keep playing, and playing, and trying again, and losing, and trying again. The soul in this game is unmatched and it is all around a fantastic indie game made by INCREDIBLY passionate people.
It could be a good game, but it isn't. Not only because by design you have to play the game over and over to beat it (which is questionable design choice in case of a puzzle game). Not only because the game is time bound and there is not much time even you know what you have to do. But also because the game is very easy to break - one extra click and notebook won't start or radio won't open. Most of my attempts were ruined by the bugs. Not recommend.
play this if you enjoyed There Is No Game.
This is a lot of fun, and really repetitive, and really creative, and also really buggy. I've had to restart my game and lose all my progress a few times due to bugs. I like the progression system. The puzzles are good. If you can look past the bugs, and you're patient with repetition, it's a super original and fun point and click.
