Good idea for a game, but fell slightly short. Bad UI and doesnt give you an option to finish the skill tree before auto completing the game. Now if I want 100% I have to start over
Coming in at 2-3 hours playtime, at this point I just need to AFK for 20 mins or so to complete the game. It's decent fun, though it feels like it stops when it's just getting started. There are a few ways to brick your game through the research "quests". If you don't use your initial research points on sap-generating recipes you can't grow your tree, and later on you'll get a quest to create 3 drones, but if you've already maxed drones you can't progress. I'm going for a 4th attempt now, since I didn't get the final achievement to unlock all talents. I beat game and it wouldn't let me continue. Beat the game once, got locked out of quest progression twice, now the 4th run I should be able to get that last achievement lol Another fun bug - after you do a run and unlock extra garden beds or auto-purchase of seeds, if you start a new run without fully exiting the game it get stuck auto-purchasing the seeds, so you can't buy anything other than the sunflower because you spend the pollen as soon as you earn it. So I've bricked 3 runs now for various reasons haha.

Game is cute and fun but I cannot in good conscience recommend a game that cost over $5 that I 100% completed in an hour and a half of mostly idle play. If you don't care about your wallet and want to have a neat short experience go for it, but I know a lot of people that expect at least an hour per $2 spent on a game that I will have to suggest skip this title.
Awesome cozy incremental gardening game ...on the moon?! Yes, Moon Garden lives up to its name and it was a absolute blast playing through it. There's even some mining! Some early patience and resource management goes a long way and once the automation gets firing, the game really picks up. The skill tree was solid and the prestige mechanic was interesting that it only reset the tree height - very clever.
I didn't buy everything before beating the game; you can get up to 3 gardens I had only 2. Nor did I plant any of the legendary flowers. I also never used the sap converter.
The soundtrack was really nice - soothing yet upbeat. And the art/animations were really charming and lovely. I especially liked how the ground turned more green and lush as the game progressed. 1.7hrs to 100% achievements
Buggy mess. From the start you can soft lock yourself if you buy a flower that costs 2 research. Great start. Later I bought all skill tree nodes and didn't get an achievement. A flower that produces all types of resource doesn't properly interact with another flower that doubles adjecent flowers to it. Near the end, the game started lagging / freezing every second. The balance makes no sense. New mechanics are unlocked as you play, but you really don't interact with them: - energy generator - not needed, you will have plenty of energy and nothing to spend it on - observatory - just buy stuff with passively generated resource. Bought items are meaningless by the time you can afford them - mine - just buy rovers and spam buy upgrades Skill tree - there are only a few upgrades that matter, and the tree itself is very small. Overall throughout the game I was constantly baffled by how terribad every aspect of it is.
On the fence about this game about how to rate this game. It's cute and is incremental, but does have an "ending" which most incremental games don't. Got about 5 hours of play for roughly 6 USD on the launch date. I probably wouldn't pay more than that to be honest. You can softlock yourself out of advancement pretty easily at almost any point. Electricity mechanic is pointless to be honest.
Great little game. Excellent music and animations, gameplay loop is fun. Great way to kick back and kill some time or just let it run when you get going a bit.
Cute, but I've gotten more mileage out of $2 titles than I got out of this. Also, I got a weird amount of lag toward the end, which really shouldn't be happening. I don't want to be too discouraging for what is clearly a beginner's effort, given the not-quite-polished mechanics, because it is a good first effort. But if I can beat the game within the refund window, maybe you're not ready to be asking for people's money just yet.
It's very okay but for the same money you could get better. It's less than 2 hours of content stretched out to 2 hours. There's a lot of signs of a lack of polish, including bugs, underdeveloped mechanics, softlocks and lack of information given to the player. I think given some more time and polish it could be good but currently, it's just not worth it.
