perfect game but 100 ragequits per wall
当每次跌下去愤怒地质疑主角的性能时,游戏中角色也同样在不甘的吼叫,或许此刻,我也与山融为一体了。
Cairn is a visually beautiful game. What it lacks in poly counts and high res textures it makes up for in art direction. The scenery is stunning and the grandeur of the mountain is palpable. The gameplay itself is simultaneously frustrating and satisfying. Frustrating in a good way. I fell many times — sometimes to my death, but usually being saved by a piton — and most times that I fell it felt understandable and as if it was my fault. The feeling of accomplishment after climbing past a section you fell on a half a dozen times before makes it all worth it. The voice acting is great, especially from the main voice actor, Sophia Eleni. You'll be hearing her the most. Though the voice acting is terrific, the main character herself is hard to sympathize with and is, I would say, frankly unlikeable. She runs away from her responsibilities, she ignores her loved ones and friends, and she rages whenever she's frustrated. She reflects a lot of the worst qualities in a lot of us as humans. Her only redeeming quality is her dogged determination. A couple of notes The game is much more frustrating if you don't get used to manual limb selection, which I used constantly. In the settings you can set it to "dial" which is the type of limb selection I recommend. Play around with it and get used to using it. The game is also much more frustrating if you don't have the setting turned on which displays a little visual indicator whenever you've gotten a good grip. If you don't have it on, sometimes it will look like you've got a good grip when you really don't, or the opposite! I only turned this setting on late in my climb but it made climbing so much more consistent and fun The world building is quite good and the narrative is mediocre. Most of the main narrative just focuses on the main character's antisocial personality. The causes for her behavior are never explained and she never fully redeems herself. Overall though it is still engaging and it doesn't drag the game down.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun, relaxing at times, anxiety ridden mostly, and overall a great game.
Cairn is not really about reaching the summit - it is about the journey. I loved the climbing mechanics and the simplified realism of climbing. Every move feels meaningful, but the game never becomes an exhausting simulator. What stayed with me most was the story behind the climb: the doubts, difficult decisions, sacrifices, and the question of whether reaching the goal is truly worth the cost. A beautiful and thoughtful game where the road matters more than the destination.
Cairn is one of the most mechanically fascinating games I've played in years, and without question the best indie title I've played this year so far. At first glance, it's a climbing game where you slowly ascend mountains by placing each hand and foot individually. In practice, it's a physics puzzle where every move matters and planning your route is essential to completing the game. Success comes almost entirely from your own understanding of the terrain rather than arbitrary upgrades or statistics. There's an incredible sense of satisfaction that comes from barely reaching a difficult hold or recovering from what looked like an inevitable fall. There's also a surprising amount of stuff to find off the beaten path, and with a little more effort you'll discover extra lore, trinkets, and supplies. Between climbs, Cairn slows the pace considerably. Managing food, water, equipment, and campsites gives each expedition a greater sense of scale, making the mountain feel like a genuine journey. Factors like hunger, thirst, morale make a huge difference as if any of those are low, your stamina runs out faster and your grip is not as firm. Keeping these meters topped up is an absolute priority. Most of this can be done by scavenging for supplies during your journey. The sound design deserves just as much praise. Long stretches of silence are broken only by the wind, shifting rock, and the scrape of your hands against the cliff face. Rather than relying on a constant soundtrack, the game trusts its atmosphere to carry the experience, making every successful climb feel strangely peaceful despite how stressful the journey can be. My biggest criticism is simply that Cairn demands patience. Mistakes can be costly, and there are moments where failure means retracing a significant portion of a climb. That level of commitment won't appeal to everyone, particularly players looking for a faster paced adventure. The learning curve can also feel overwhelming during the opening hours before the controls finally click. It's not always immediately obvious why you fall, and that can get pretty frustrating. Due to being able to attach any limb to any surface, the animation while climbing can look pretty janky as well. Once you get the hang of the mechanics and the unusual controls, this game just clicks. This game could've easily been a really unfun mess, but against all odds it works well. It does have it's flaws, but for the most part the game works as intended and it's a lot of fun to play. Highly recommend.
越过山丘,越的过程很重要
Indie Death Stranding? a few examples of the inept implementations of storytelling in gaming but the kind of game you didn't know you were yearning for and the type you wake up excited to play more of, innovationn that fills you with hope and wonder rather then weary obligation.......
