Cafe Deux Femmes

I wasnt expecting all that much from this VN, but I was positively suprised by it. I mean yeah it might not have amazing art and it doesnt have voice acting or any cool features, but the mix of Slice of Life and Lesbian Romance Story is nicely done and I had a good time reading. The game also lets you make quite a few choices which can lead to two different female love interests, however be aware you can also fail at getting their good endings. Playing through one route took me around 2 hours so all in all with checking for all the content you will easily be able to spend 3 hours on this and considering the price I'd say that it for sure is worth it. The writing is pretty good and there werent any grammer/spelling mistakes, at least I didnt spot any. The art really isnt that great though cause they just used real life backgrounds on which they added a filter (at least I think so) , but considering the price and the small dev that is quite alright. I also wouldnt buy it for the R18 content as that is pretty much just a picture of the two love interests naked, but who cares this VN is for sure more about the life of the mc and the development of their relationship. If you are looking for a short Lesbian Romance story with some Slice of Life content then I can easily recommend it. I wouldnt say that this is something super good or anything, but it for sure is good enough for a nice 2-3 hours were you have nothing else to do. the writer is kind of an idiot. "isn't that racist? marrying a white guy and having separate fridges? its racist and sexist." that was actually written in this novel. stupid idiot. its also not really a dating sim. its a visual novel, DUH that lets you choose a few options DUH to help you get an ending. thats all. its just some low quality visual novel.

It's simple and short, but really nice. Just a cute little week in a life of changes. Nice arrangement of choices for little personality moments, but they kind of just add to basic tallies. A plus though is nice background music.

Cafe Deux Femmes... eine Yuri-Visual Novel / Dating Sim für 3,99€ ... ich war erst skeptisch, wurde aber dann doch positiv überrascht. Charakter- und Background-Design sind, auf gute Weise, anders als bei vergleichbaren VNs z.B. aus der Sakura-Reihe, so etwas habe ich in dem Preissegment noch nicht gesehen. Es gibt andere VNs aus dem Genre, welche deutlich teurer sind und wesentlich weniger bieten als es hier der Fall ist. Vor allem das Charakterdesign ist sehr gut gelungen und wie erwähnt erfreulich anders. Die Musik ist ebenfalls passend und atmosphärisch, aber nicht störend. Der Umfang von Cafe Deux Femmes ist mit ca. 3 Stunden pro Route (für einen kompletten Durchgang ohne skippen) mehr als in Ordnung, auch hier habe ich schon deutlich schlechteres gesehen. Die Zeit variiert natürlich je nachdem wie schnell ihr seid. Eventuell reduziert sich die Zeit auf ca. 1,5 bis 2 Stunden, was aber auch noch okay ist. Die Routen unterscheiden sich ab einem gewissen Punkt und hier werden unterschiedliche Backgrounds benutzt, anstatt denselben Background nur mit einem anderen Charakter darzustellen. Die Story entwickelt sich angenehm mit Drama und auch mit einer interessanten Wendung. Ich habe Cafe Deux Femmes sehr genossen und würde mich persönlich über eine mögliche Fortsetzung oder einen zweiten Teil sehr freuen. Vielleicht aus Sicht der Schwester!? Persönliche Wertung: 9/10

Short visual novel set in Santa Monica. You are Hannah, who is introduced to this café by your sister Clare. Two women catch your eye, and by making the right choices you can snare one of them. Decent.

A pleasant yuri VN. The CGs weren't exactly outstanding, and the story too was more on the average side, but what I was particularly pleased with was that the 18+ DLC (for both routes) was relatively gentle and loving - it was not explicit, "blow-by-blow" - which is how I think all good yuri VNs should climax - and needless, to say I'm a great fan of yuri VNs.

Maybe this is one of those kind of games/stories where you have to get through x-chapters before it's any good, but holy sh*t this game is boring! Not even a Slice-of-Life kind of thing that a lot of people find boring, but this is like watching 2-3 (I only got so far) strangers have normal, everyday conversations. I've played terribly written games that still had some overall interesting plot to accompany it, this game doesn't even seem to have that. There is no intro, no set up, everything one can glean about the plot is through dialog mixed in with boring conversations. I recommend the creators play a Visual Novel to get an idea of what one is supposed to be like.

Short but cute visual novel type game. The ending I got felt a little rushed, but I still enjoyed it. Very feel good. And I love the art!

This is one of the 1st in this world.. This Now does link to other stories in this world. The areas of Boston, Aspen and Seatle are in some of the others and Paris is also a place in a later story. These stories interlink with each other, though there are different ones in between. Reading them all gives you a good idea of it all. The Only one that is not linked is Confessions at Candlewood. They thought it could but it's In Story timeline was way off the rest even though it is good. I forgot that I had played this when it first came out as I got side tracked by the brilliant VN's that followed in it's wake. I did enjoy this story,, 2 Love interests, both at different ends of the scale, a loving older sister who is very hard working and she is straight BUT,,, issues in that area and it's over Thanks Giving. Let the Chaos commence. I Enjoyed it, It's a Yuri love Story, whats Not to like. Read It,, it's good, Enjoy.
