Don't be fooled by lots of positive reviews - most of them are based on the game's cheap price. Bleeding Edge VR looks and feels like something made for smartphone or early VR arcade. It's funny that game description states "the highest quality of visuals" while even screenshots look kinda ugly. But the worst part of the game is the gun handling - one of the most important things in any shooter. Here it uses only one controller for turning while both guns are two-handed, has no recoil or feedback. Bullets have no impact on enemy models other than ugly splashes of blood and scripted death animations, that look like dinos just got bored with you and fell asleep. I don't think that even the cheapest price can justify such a horrible gameplay.

I saw the store page and figured this would be a mindless shooter. And it is. But it's also fun. It's like a joyride where you get in a car and just drive around doing stupid stuff around town and if you describe it to another person, it will sound like a waste of time. Coincidentally, you're also riding in a vehicle in this game and mindlessly shooting stuff. The stuff here happens to be dinosaurs hell-bent on making you their next meal. You only use one motion controller (right-hand) and just shoot stuff without really aiming (hip-fire). No aiming down sights for this game! Explosions happen. There's QTE events where you have to shoot in a directed area within a certain time frame or you're toast. Lots of short cinematic stuff happens along the way. The whole joyride takes about 8 minutes. The only options are language options or whether you want easy or elite difficulty (no in-between stuff here!). The graphics are good for a budget title. There's some pop-in in the distance at times during this game and while I won't say the game ran smoothly, I will say it ran well enough on my 1060. The firing of weapons could have been done better, less arcade, but I had mindless fun regardless. [b]Rate 6.5/10. I'm interested in buying Chapter 2. I would just like to see the gun mechanic improved. Also, maybe allow for some grenades to be thrown with the offhand or some Molotovs.[/b]

For the low price this is an excellent on-rails game/experience. One of the most enjoyable dinosaur themed VR mini-games I've played. I wouldn't say the graphics are the best in VR (like the description says), but they are good. The voice acting is passable (one is hilariously bad), the guns and mechanics are super basic, but the fun/action is intense. Perfect for a VR arcade, or anyone who wants a short thrill, especially anyone who loves dinos. Recommend for the price, and I'm looking forward to Chapt. 2!

Играть рекомендуется сидя, и в самой игре ты будешь сидеть в кузове автомобиля, где тебе предстоит отстреливаться от динозавров бегущих или летящих на тебя. Очень простая и интересная игра, с хорошей графикой и с которой можно начать знакомство с VR.

Bleeding Hunt VR ist ein kurzer Railshooter mit Dinos (getestet mit der Valve Index) Nachdem wir uns für einen von 2 Schwierigkeitsgraden entschieden haben geht es auch direkt los. Auf der Ladefläche eines Trucks rasen wir durch den Dschungel, ständig verfolgt von einem T-Rex und anderen kleineren Sauriern. Wir ballern einfach wie wild drauf los, dabei wechseln die Waffen zwischen Pumpgun und Maschinengewehr. Neben den Dinos können wir auch diverse Gegenstände in der Umgebung abschießen um so unser Ranking zu verbessern. Zusätzlich müssen wir in ein paar Zeitlupensequenzen noch bestimmte Teile des T-Rex treffen um ihn z.B. vorübergehend außer Gefecht zu setzen. Die Steuerung ist recht simpel gehalten, zum Nachladen halten wir die Waffen einfach kurz in "senkrechte Position", Waffen wechseln wir, je nachdem über welche Schulter wir greifen. Allerdings fühlen sich die Waffen nicht zu 100% stimmig an, aber in verkraftbarem Rahmen. Die Grafik ist durchaus in Ordnung und erfüllt ihren Zweck, auch wenn ich der Beschreibung mit "höchster je gesehener Qualität" nicht ganz zustimmen kann ;) Die Gesamtlänge ist mir unter 10 Minuten schon sehr spärlich, und ob man jetzt unbedingt eine zweite und dritte Runde spielen will, nur um eine verfehlte Kiste oder ähnliches für die Gesamtabrechnung zu treffen ist fraglich. Vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist es OK, es ist recht günstig und für den Preis kann man "eigentlich" nicht meckern, es läuft... Ob man das Spiel wirklich in seiner Sammlung braucht muss jeder selbst wissen, insbesondere bei der Länge (oder Kürze) Da es keine großen Fehler hat und preislich keine Grenzen sprengt gebe ich mal einen Daumen rauf. Allerdings ist das keine Kaufempfehlung, sondern lediglich die Bestätigung das es keine "gamebreaking Bugs" hat... Honestly this game brings back memories of good old arcade rail-shooter games like Virtual Cop, Time Crisis and House of the Dead as well as the Jurassic arcade games. But those games run much longer than this, the playtime of this game is a joke, only 10 minutes of game play. How is that going to keep us VR gamers satisfied?! The replay value this game has is extremely low. The graphics are pretty decent but a bit rough around the edges. And besides this game isn't worth $4.50 even if it's on special and I'm surprised that this game has positive reviews because of the price. Well a cheap price doesn't always mean the game is going to be good, in fact the game is down-right terrible and noone is going to play this game again and again. And besides if this is the first chapter of Bleeding hunt when, WHERE THE HELL IS CHAPTER 2 & 3???!!! If this game had a gameplay time of like 50 minutes or an hour then I would be happy but the fact this game only has the first chapter and only 10 lousy minutes of game time, it's not worth your time nor money. So don't bother playing this, even if the game is at a cheap price.

Great game! Highly recommended! Just what I expected it to be. Brought back the feel of old light gun arcade shooters such as, Area 51, and Jurassic Park The Lost World. It also felt like an amusement park ride, the likes of which would be seen at Universal Studios, or Islands of Adventure, Orlando FL. In particular the 3D rides like Spider-Man and Back to the Future, are the feels this game brought to mind. I particularly looked forward to the animation work done in this game. I was not disappointed. It turned out exactly as I expected. Even though I was not surprised by anything in the game, the story it starts to build does have me intrigued. I will be back for chapter 2 and beyond!
