Burnhouse Lane

Me gustó muchísimo el juego. Super recomendado

Another one in the bag for Harvester Games. As always I am satisfied with the output, although sadly a little less than their previous titles. Burnhouse lane is technically part of tht eDevil Came Through Here universe, but it definitely felt a lot more detached from the other three titles. On a technical level the game is their best yet, with gorgeous art and music, but I will say that the puzzles didn't feel particularly new (although none were bad). Interesting touch to add combat, although kinda basic I appreciate the courage to experiment with each new game. I liked the story, but I think compared to the other games it was a bit weak, some plot points felt a bit like they were kinda self fulfilling and didn't add much, or weren't very expanded upon. The characters were good, although at times flat, but I did appreciate the fact that not everyone got a happy ending. Won't spoil who, but I was also very happy to see a familiar face make one last(?) appearance. Overall also good voice acting, although you could tell the mixing wasn't always even, luckily not a big deal at any point. The music remains an extremely strong point for this series, the whole soundtrack is really great and a delight to hear in game. Overall a good experience once again, though slightly less than previous entries in the series. 7.5/10

GREAT STORY. GREAT GAME!

As somebody who works as a caretaker I really love how this part of the story and plot is dealt with as well as George's entire existence. I want to be friends with George and turn him into a hamster and put him in my pocket and I also want to kiss Angie multiple times and Ciaran is underrated Also there's a cat and you can feed a horse Plus it is spooky and funny and dark and sad and every emotion in one game I will always recommend any game made by these people there's nothing else I can think of that has the absolute spirit and character that these games have

Burnhouse Lane to mroczna przygodówka z elementami horroru psychologicznego od twórców The Cat Lady (Rem Michalski). Gra opowiada poruszającą historię Angie Weather, pielęgniarki walczącej o życie i próbującej odzyskać nadzieję. Klimat jest gęsty, niepokojący i pełen emocji, a fabuła potrafi zaskoczyć i skłonić do refleksji. Połączenie eksploracji, zagadek oraz świetnie napisanych postaci sprawia, że trudno oderwać się od ekranu. To nie jest horror oparty na tanich strachach, lecz dojrzała opowieść o cierpieniu, strachu i walce o przetrwanie. Gorąco polecam fanom fabularnych gier grozy 9.5/10
