see this is strange, whilst I INDIVIDUALLY do not recommend this game - I also think it's not a bad game by any means. It's just that subjectively this was just such a flat and boring experience that I decided to drop it after chapter 2 because when I googled to see how many chapters are left there was 4 more to go.
And believe me the main missions are nothing to write home about, I could care less about the story/characters/humor/gameplay loop ("gameplay loop" in quotes)
see I would probably like this game much more 10 years ago but as it stands right now I struggle to like it, the main missions are just side activities and the side activities are just generic Rockstar side activities pre RDR1 where they started to shine. (yes the games before had mid side activities)
I don't particularly love the writing and humor much either.
So overall, if you get this game for very cheap, install it, maybe grab a fully completed save file and then just mess around in the sandbox because as always the sandbox is fun to take part in despite it being limited.
5.8/10, maybe 6/10 on a good day.
"worst" game I played this year but again, its not bad. It's just not for me. IT DID however crash a few times in the first 30 mins which required me to get a fan patch but even still that's not the game itself its just the port being bad.
I feel as if its a game lifted by nostalgia but since i had none of it, it made it much, much worse.
