Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 20 → 0.17/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Everything seems to be just fine... But not for long!

When Grandparaffine sends Bulb Boy to venture into the eerie depths of the basement in a search of a precious jar full of delicious jam, it quickly turns out that this mission will not be as easy as it might seem. And by saying that we don't mean problems such as a missing key to the doors. We talk about navigating through the dark, shadowy corners of the cellar...
Oh, and about facing sticky jelly creatures and their spine-tingling boss that wants Bulb Boy's head for his own. Yeah.

Bulb Boy 2: Jar of Despair is the sequel to the hit and award-winning indie game that combines point & click adventure with horror game. I thoroughly enjoyed the first one. It was silly, but had it's own kind of sense and was fun to puzzle out. This one just took the whacky, creepy and did nothing else. The story does not flow like the first one. There is also a mechanic with the mouse that I would argue was not playtested enough. It is just frustrating because you have to almost triple click for it to finally accept the input. It is not a terrible game, but any the puzzle gamer friends I have, I can not imagine recommending this game or even talking about it to them, so therefore not recommended by me.
还可以,就是贵了点短了点,这钱是付给这十年的情怀的

Not as good as the first one, for sure. The puzzles could do with clearer goals at some points. I also think there were many moments where a single mistake would undo some puzzle progress, somewhat punishing experimentation, especially since, when redoing things, you really notice how slow the game is. The final boss did break for me, where eventually I could not control the dog and finish the fight. The art is still amazing!

Bulb boy 2 was a fun little game, it ran fine on a 5800x with a rtx 4090. But no graphic settings ( i game at 4k, but this game seemt only 1080p, looking at the pixelated steam overlay :(. The first game had a way better story and much more horror. I bought it when it came out, but this was much better in a sale. Part 3 hopefully better :)
Bulb Boy 2: Jar Of Despair utilises a surreal dream logic that prioritises inventive environmental manipulation over standard point-and-click conventions. By tasking players with experimenting through unconventional item combinations, the experience rewards lateral thinking while maintaining a consistently bizarre atmosphere characterised by unsettling creature designs and remarkably odd anatomical features. Vibrant and detailed hand-drawn visuals showcase a significant improvement in presentation compared to the previous entry. Whilst the aesthetic remains distinctively eerie, the shift towards a more whimsical tone feels like a natural evolution that keeps the world feeling fresh even when it leans into the grosser side of its identity. Controller support facilitates a far more fluid navigation of the interface, effectively modernising the genre's typical reliance on mouse-only inputs. This quality-of-life adjustment makes the process of inspecting objects feel considerably more precise, although the persistent emphasis on character anatomy during movement creates a bizarre, slightly distracting visual recurring motif. Mini-game segments occasionally introduce artificial friction due to sluggish cursor speeds that cannot be adjusted to suit personal preference. These moments of unpolished execution create spikes in difficulty that feel disconnected from the primary puzzle loop, momentarily stalling the momentum during otherwise quick-witted sequences that demand rapid and accurate responses. Environmental puzzles demand patience when interactivity remains ambiguous, leading to instances where solutions rely on trial-and-error rather than pure deduction. Despite these bouts of confusion, the linear progression path effectively gates off further exploration, forcing the player to engage deeply with the immediate vicinity until the intended logic eventually clicks into place. Technical performance remains impressively stable across the board, ensuring that the dream-like journey never suffers from crashes or significant bugs. Even when the logic seems impenetrable, the constant stream of strange, creative interactions ensures that curiosity remains the primary driver throughout the entire length of the bite-sized, surrealistic adventure. Overall, those seeking a charming, offbeat excursion into puzzle-solving will find this title a delightful refinement of its predecessor. It manages to balance its unique art direction with mechanical usability, proving that even a game featuring such peculiar anatomy can offer a truly rewarding and polished experience for inquisitive puzzle enthusiasts.
