Build Molecules for Vick - Chemistry Puzzle

Gostei do jogo mesmo sem saber nada de química. Ele tem uma música muito boa e a progressão de levels ficou bem interessante. Jogo bem legal e divertido!

[b]4/10[/b] Jigsaw puzzles with atoms. [b]What is it:[/b] This mostly resembles a jigsaw puzzle, but instead of shaped pieces forming a picture, you have to assemble atoms into molecules. There is already a scaffolding in place on which you must place the atoms, and the atoms already have all the electrons in the right place to make connections. That is good because you know where each atom goes, but it's bad because you cannot put any Hydrogen in a spot, you must find the Hydrogen with it's electron on the left. And this becomes worse as the molecules get more complicated, you have to distinguish between the Hydrogen with its electron at 72 degrees and the one at 60 degrees, and all the Carbons with electrons at different angles. The good aspect is that this is educational, fairly accurate depiction of the molecules. The bad aspect is... everything else. The game always offers me Portuguese at the start, even though I select English every time. The controls are buggy, if I click too fast atoms get jumbled up, and sometimes they even become unresponsive and I have to restart it. You can swap two atoms already in the scaffolding, but you cannot bring an atom from outside over an occupied spot. The atoms on the blackboard (starting with Oxygen in level 14) often are unresponsive, you cannot take them off the blackboard. There's some story text that shows up with a typewriter effect, and is unskippable, and is shown every time you open the corresponding level. Atoms often show up behind the text and I have to search for them. Barely any settings, no progress reset, random difficulty swings, no cloud saving, sometimes you have to push Space, sometimes you have to click a button, so both mouse and keyboard are required, rudimentary graphics, useless "anti-atoms" that are only an inconvenience. Overall impression: could be a useful educational tool, but the implementation is much too broken. [b]How hard is it:[/b] Easy. [b]How long is it:[/b] 52 levels, can be finished in an hour. No level skipping. [b]Level design:[/b] Good selection of molecules, especially after the first few "-ane" that are almost all the same but longer, weirdly ordered. The game could do so much more, the game graphics show Sulphur and Phosphorus which are never used in game. [b]Quality:[/b] Bad. [b]Worth the price:[/b] No, wait for a big discount. It's fine for the price, but not really a puzzle game. There's nothing to solve, just pieces laying around and you put them in their places, so more like a sorting game. It took less than 1 hour to finish it, which was a good thing because I was getting bored after a while.

Das Spiel ist im Prinzip ein Puzzlespiel. Wir haben hier nur anders als bei anderen keine Bilder sondern Atome welche wir für Vick (der Mann im unteren bereich des Bildes) an die richtige Position setzen sollen weil die Moleküle völlig durcheinander geraten sind. sofern man nicht vergisst die Ausrichtung der Atome zu beachten ist das Spiel auch recht leicht und selbst mit 52 Leveln recht schnell durchgespielt. Leider auch kein großer Widerspiel wert. Das Spiel hätte dabei eigentlich einiges an potential es auch komplexer und länger interessant zu machen. Menüoptionen sind wie man im Video sieht auf der Linken Seite vorhanden und weitgehend verständlich. Beim Spielstart muss man aber jedes mal neu die Sprache auswählen entweder Portugiesisch oder Englisch. Das Spiel bietet anfangs ein Toturiel, welches das Spiel erklärt und damit kommen wir zu den negativen: Eine eher Kleinigkeit ist das die Schriftart die man wählte und das noch im Zusammenhang mit der Kontrast losen Farbkombination es für einige schwer machen die Texte zu lesen, da die Buchstaben keine Voll Buchstaben sind, sondern innen hohl und bei Weiß auf hellblau macht es das lesen nicht einfach. Der eigentliche Massive Negativpunkt ist, das das Spiel einen Fehler hat, welcher bei mir erst nach dem durchspielen und mehreren kurzen Spielen auftrat, bei manchen von Beginn an. Das Spiel hängt sich am Anfang, beim Tutoriel auf, bzw. geht einfach nicht weiter. In dem Fall kann man nur noch mit Steam oder Betriebssystem das Spiel beenden. Das macht das Spiel letztlich unspielbar. Ein weiterer Negativpunkt ist das dieser Fehler seit Monaten im Spiel Forum bekannt ist und scheinbar ignoriert wird. Der Entwickler ist auf steam Präsent, das sieht man an den Beiträgen, doch bei anderen seiner Spiele. Jogo bem divertidinho e ainda dá pra aprender um pouco de química, principalmente referente ao nmr de ligações químicas de alguns elementos (Os principais da química orgânica)

Fun and relaxing casual game. I loved the chemistry theme and the friendly character that teaches us how to play. The level progression is interesting. It's cool to see the shape of molecules in the end of each level. Great game!

Could have been a decent game about chemistry. But I cant recommend it: 1. Game always starts with Portuguese language selected 2. Should be a way to turn off Vick`s animation - she loops through same 5 body poses during the level and that distracts me 3 Sometimes game needs SPACE key to continue. One of them should be connected from the bottom of C- atom and other on the right of C-atom. Only like that. Why game so strict? Was it easier to code? Maybe, but in real life atoms dont have a designated link direction. it is getting tedious to arrange atoms after several levels.

Muito bom o jogo! É um jogo legal para exercitar o raciocínio lógico e revisar os conteúdos sobre nomenclatura de compostos orgânicos. Acredito que possa, inclusive, ser utilizado em sala de aula no ensino básico para os alunos praticarem e revisarem o que aprenderam.
