Pretty sure most of the positive reviews were written by the dev's friends, because gosh, this game is terrible. Not asking for a refund because it was only three bucks, but this was somebody's first game and it SHOWS. The premise is that every round you get some money to buy some towers - but if you don't spend all your money in a round, you can't keep it until next round, so you think you'll just buy some towers with it, but you can't because there's a limit on the number of towers you can have at a time. So you think you'll just use the money to upgrade the towers you have, but that's predicated on those towers showing up in the shop, and with the sheer number of towers in the game, there's a really good chance the towers you need don't show up in the shop. So there you are, spending your money to refresh the shop, and if the towers you didn't already buy don't show up again, you're boned; the entire "challenge" of this game is hoping the towers you already bought show up again in the shop. If they do, you might make it past wave 10, and if they don't tough luck. I didn't even play it for an hour and I've seen everything there is to see here. There are so many better tower defense games out there (even free ones!) that are way, way better, buy one of those instead.
A cool mix of super auto pets and the tower defence genre. I really enjoyed the amount of towers to choose from and the music was nice too! Obviously it is a little game but I had a lot of fun and am excited to see what updates come and what the developer does next. Also just feels so good when you get a good comp and figure out what works well together

Best game ive ever played made my wife remarry me and my kids speak to me again
Tower go brr
Fun game, definitely needs some QOL updates and some balance changes. I am only on difficulty 1 and i cant even beat it. Obviously i am still learning and will eventually get there but half the time i lose within the first 3 waves because i only find 1 or 2 damage turrets and unless I get a early upgrade or early synergy i just lose, sometimes by wave 2. As for QOL, there is no indication as to how much gold you will get for selling a turret, obviously after doing it a few times you find out but a little note in the turret info would be nice. For turrets that scale like the metropolis or pirate it is vague as to how much damage i am actually doing, either updating the turret damage number or adding another telling me how much total additional damage i am getting would be nice. It would be great to have a recap after each wave of each turrets damage so i could actually tell which turrets are doing damage and actually change/shape my build easier without guessing. Maybe i am missing something but some turrets like the shotgun turret and cannon just feel like they do basically nothing (damage wise). Even on wave 1 and 2 they cant kill more than one or 2 enemies, which can result in a very early loss. I feel like (at least the shotgun) should be doing massive damage, like one shotting 1 or 2 enemies at a time(at least for the first couple waves), but for some reason the high range high fire rate crossbow basically does that. Overall its a solid start, it feels more like an early access game than a full release title, but if the game continues to get updates it will definitely be worth the money and time to play.
Fun take on tower defense. Best features: *The tower variety is interesting and a little unconventional (the one that wormholes some enemies back to the beginning is cool - idk if other TD games have that, but I hadn't seen it), which is nice. *Good round length: It took me 5-10 minutes to lose a round and about 15-20 to win at the base difficulty level. I'm too old for every game session to be an epic saga. *Synergies?? I haven't played enough to have strong notions here, but after a couple of rounds I have some half-formed thoughts about some fun combo potential. *Simplicity! I think the reason I don't play TD games more often is because a lot of them seem to get pretty bloated trying to dress up the genre or trying to be "hardcore". This one doesn't, much to its favor. EDIT: I think everything below has been addressed in subsequent updates. Fun lil first game. Quibbles (as of like a day after release, so some of these will probably be fixed if you're reading this after June 2023): *There's a lot of unused space on my monitor - it might be nice to be able to see stats for multiple towers at the same time. *I wish there were more info about the coming rounds (if not tool tips to describe the enemies, at least something indicating a hint about quantity *I don't want to gatekeep roguelike/lite naming conventions (too late?), but this seems to be a pretty standard run-based tower defense game, so don't expect meta progression or relic/power upgrades a la defender's quest or snkrx. *The current XP for leveling a tower gets hidden if you have another tower in the space below it. *Does money carry over? It seems like it doesn't, but there's a tower that mentioned strength based on how much money was saved (I haven't used that tower yet, fwiw). Overall, pretty nice! Totally reasonable price (not everything at $3 has to be vampire survivors - game pricing is weird) and very reasonable time commitment to play (which, tbh, is one of my most important criteria these days).
As someone who loves Tower Defense games and Super Auto Pets, discovering this fusion of the two genres brought me immense joy. This game cleverly combines the addictive mechanics of Tower Defense with the strategic charm of Super Auto Pets, resulting in a surprisingly deep and incredibly fun experience. While the game is already enjoyable, the potential for future updates and expansions is incredibly exciting. The developers have laid a strong foundation, and I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing where they take it next.
This is a very fun, new, and creative take on the Tower Defense genre. Normally I find myself staying away from Tower Defense games because I usually find them to be a little boring and very repetitive. This game finds a solution to both of those issues I have with a very simple but very unique addition that adds a whole lot more to the game; The tower randomizer. The random selection and variety of towers insures that there is a lot of replay-ability and that the game never gets bland. There is also the option to combine like-towers to upgrade them which adds another layer to the gimmick which really makes it feel complete. Some towers are a little humorous, and play into the fact that the enemy's are bugs, such as the 'magnifier' (a magnifying glass tower). The cute art style is also very pleasing to look at as well. Though the game may still have a few bugs and glitches, it is still very good pocket sized fun that I will definitely pick up every now and then and play for hours whenever I might get bored. Even if you may not be very big into the Tower Defense genre like me, I would absolutely recommend giving this game a try.
Certainly a fun little game! Lots of towers and variety with good music. I've made it through the first three levels so far. Reminds me of some flash games I used to play. I do have a few suggestions though: - Allow us to view the description of a tower we've placed down - Add something similar to the Almanac from PvZ so we can see info about the enemies and towers from the main menu Overall, it's a good game! I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
The RNG ruins the game. you can just keep rolling your hand and just get nothing you can use so your left with towers that do no dmg.
