Bug Heroes: Tower Defense

It's a good game but not as good as their old games. I'm supporting the devs by owning both mobile paid contents and this version (and their other games). Bug heroes 1 used to be my favorite game on iphone 4 when I was little, Bug heroes 2 used to be my only game that I thought worth playing on mobile when I was in high school. I do think the devs should go fully on Steam, the mobile market is sadly ruining their game vision day by day. Really, they made amazing games but focus in a wrong platform, with wrong audience, and only considering Steam after mobile markets. Now even they changed a lot of paid contents for Steam version, you can still feel the unpleasant mobile interactions and overall game designs, and that may caused them to lose Steam players as people really don't like those type of games here. Please, less grinding, more content, more unique surprises, better PC control, co-op, better marketing materials that shows the hook and uniqueness of your game for PC players. If you check what's popular in first 100 games on Steam you know why this game is here, unfortunately

Bug Heroes was one of my favorite games to play on my Ipod growing up. I was excited to see it here on steam but its very different from the original game. the original game felt more like a PC game and this new version on steam feels more like an cheap, basic, boring mobile game. Rather disappointed to see that its been simplified now that its been brought over to PC rather than built upon. Dont waste your money its better and cheap on the app store.

I need Bug Heros 2

I have a fairly high amount of nostalgia for the Bug Heroes series, particularly the first two. Being released in 2011 at a time when mobile games seemed to be the future for gaming (if only we knew what was to come), the fun "protect the castle" style gameplay and ridiculous pitch-shifted bug vocals really endeared me to it and I found myself quite attached to those characters, especially after the full RPG-style adventure that would ensue. Having long since drifted away from the mire of mobile games on my old iPod, to my surprise the heroes are back and on Steam, no less. It was only natural that the developers would try a true tower defence game as the original games always had those elements, and it works pretty well. The player controls and swaps between two heroes and is given the choice to invest and upgrade in towers or themselves, allowing you to hide behind your towers as an architect of death, wade into the battle yourself, or a mix of the two. Choosing different heroes with their own unique abilities and passives also adds a lot to experimentation and optimisation. The sometimes strange menus, timed shops, daily quests and gated progression made me suspicious, but I just chalked that up to the developers having primarily designed mobile games in the past. It was after a few more hours that it hit me. Oh...this is just a mobile port, isn't it? And yeah, it's exactly that. I'd like to be able to rate this mixed, as the performance leaves a lot to be desired and the obvious designed-for-mobile features do feel out of place in a game with no ads or microtransactions, but it'll still give you a fair amount of fun for a few hours and is well worth the price on sale, especially if you were a fan of the originals like me.

N年前在iphone7上玩到的虫虫英雄一代，那也是我第一次接触到3D版的塔防类游戏。 各类虫虫英雄角色千奇百怪，再加上整体的题材跟美术设计也相当合乎胃口。 登时直接就一整个的沉迷了进去，甚至还为此自学不少的英语单词。哈哈。 后来好多年里，就算没再启动过，他也一直躺在我的手机里。 直到再换了iphone11，系统升级，一代不适配了。 因此，苦找了好久的破解资源材才终于下回来。 再后面一点，虫虫英雄2迭代，模式基本没变。 今年五月，巧合之下商店搜到了虫虫英雄：TD，便下载到手机爽了有好一阵子。 今天心血来潮想在PC模拟器玩儿一下，结果发现居然登陆了Steam，那没的说了~

Foursaken Media is the reason I have any hope for the future of video games. Looks like a kids game, but has a satisfyingly difficult TD grind + roguelite elements. I'm 6 hours into the game, only have the starting 3 characters, and I'm not even mad. It is a crime of humanity that this game is slept on. If you read this, buy it Edit: I keep coming back to this game, very grindy but very fun TD game to sit back and relax once you have the right upgrades unlocked.
