Story time It's Saturday night, my friend has come back from a long shift at work, he loads up bug ball to stream on discord. His handling is amateur at best and I make it a point to let him know. Frustrated, he calls me a wise guy and hands me a copy (This is how I get new games). I teach him how to pass level 17 with some rudimentary bug drifting and shut off the game, my course left unfinished. He gets a D grade on the course and hands a copy to another friend before signing off. Sunday afternoon, I open up discord. Our other friend was busy. He @'s me with a screenshot of his grade B, taunting me. I get to work. I start replaying the course, mapping out optimal pathing, mastering the bug drifting, going slow on level 12 but that's a perfectly valid strategy and I refuse to hear otherwise. I take my A rank and display for all to see. Within an hour, there are 4 of us streaming bug ball side-by-side with only one friend to watch us (she wasn't). Half an hour later, six of us owned copies of bug ball and I had to give 2 lectures in microsoft paint explaining the bug drifting technique to pass level 17. By the end, I walked away with an S and a time of 1:08, third best. That was how I got an S on the Forest's easy course This game's pretty good

best Hideo game I ever played
this game is peak I do wish there was a way to view longer courses without just going through them since it's a little hard to tell what you need to do when you're going 12 billion metres per second (mainly needed in the hard courses since it's difficult to learn them through trial and error) otherwise fun game with great level design and nice feeling controls (also has isopods so instant 10/10)
this game taught me how to love and live if you haven't played this game you're lost in this cruel dark world 10/10 Balls Exploded
the person who made this made the vtuber avatar program so this already gets minus infinity points in my book but they(/them) also made a good game and are making sunflower trees in their game and they're kinda chill too i guess so its very good and i think this needs to be nominated for game of the year. also i helped with the translation and im not biased at all ♥♥♥♥ you.
IT'S BUGS. ITS BALLS. AND IT'S 3D. IT'S BUG BALL 3D.
Bug Ball 3D is the most floated... wait boated... wait goated hideo game to ever exist. Genuinely fun and challenging though with a great soundtrack. Playing while intoxicated is quite fun,, like driving a car but bug
lovely game!
you might like it if you like stuff by edmund mcmillen. feels like potential that was poorly executed on though. maybe worth an afternoon if you've got nothing else to do.
