Buckshot Roulette

Buckshot Roulette is a fun game. I would put this into the same category as Balatro, actually. It doesn't eat up your time unless you let it, the replayability is high, and the atmosphere is great. There is definitely a small learning curve to not getting yourself killed. I lack a lot of the strategic ability required to plan ahead. I aim for the Dealer most of the time, and this has cost me some games.. My advice for a new player is not to let the Dealer get the upper hand. When my head is on straight and I'm focused, I try and prevent my items from being taken, I stall and waste bullets to get new items, and I count in my head. The Dealer IS counting too, either all of the time or not, I am unsure. He can be quite an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and I think that characteristic is quite applied. He's cold, sometimes stupid, and smart, too. Not just an unfeeling A-B black-or-white enemy, in my experience. The online play is neat, but a bit clunky with how long a turn can take. I don't know if there's a timer for player turns (my computer is older and doesn't run the online feature well, so my time with it is limited), but I believe it might improve that side of the game. As well, the creator has a website. I encourage fans of the game to visit it, because he's clearly got some talent in this genre, and he's made more games than just BR.

It's a game of luck where you shoot or get shot. With single-player and multiplayer functionality, double or nothing, a small but varied selection of items, and the constant need for some semblance of a strategy, this game has both challenge and good fun for you and a friend group (whether they watch you play or play together with you). Just make sure you know how to count.
