Do not buy this game, because it has worse graphics than a ps1 game. The game is horrible. Even the graphics of the original version of Sid Meier's Pirates were a lot better. I play a lot of low poly and pixel art games, but none of them are as ugly as this game. The game runs on 30 fps, no choice for resolution, for that matter there are almost no settings at all. My system can run the latest games on high and some of them even on ultra or epic, but this game runs on so bad fps that it looks like a snes game instead of a game from 2024. I don't want to offend anyone, but who does the quality checking on the games released on the Steam Store ? This game would even be too expensive if it was free and even then nobody would want to play it. NOT RECOMMENDED !!!

Yet again I buy an old game on Steam just to discover it is nonfunctional, wasting my money and time. Half the controls aren't mapped and there is no way to remap anything. Clean up your act steam. Quit re-releasing bugged versions and charging people for it.

I love this game. But only for one reason. It was my first computer game back in 1997. I tried many times to run my old CD game on modern PCs but there was no way. Now this game is on Steam, i bought it and played. Now: 27 years later - it is like back in 1997 and good for players (i was 9 years old) if there are 9 years old. Dont expect any good game. But i still love it. Thank you for release!

The resolution is so poor, you can hardly read the screen. I'd stay away. Going to return it if i can.

This is a release of an old game. I played this for hours years ago. Not that much depth, but fun and easy once you learn the controls. Give it a go.

I like this game, but I dont know how to beat the long fort. Any body knows how? please let me know

This game is a classic! Very fun strategic game and a must play if you like pirates.

That's exactly the same game wich was on CD with 100 games that i played my Win ME. Buy it nostalgic mostly and it's still not bad.
