Sea Legends

Amazing. Was a big fan of this game when it just came out back in the 90s. Despite the absolutely horrible (by modern standards) graphics, the gameplay is great. REALLY needs a companion instructional guide though, on how to play :) There is a Russian guide on the web (original game is by a Russian studio), which is fine for me, but I coudn't find an English one. Maybe I will write one.

In my opinion the best Age of Sail game there is. While a lot of the people did fancy Sid Meyers Pirates, i did like this one much more. The reasons: - On-Board perspective from the ship instead of exterior camera. - Individual Cannon reload- and aiming times for each cannon on a broadside, together with single-shot or full broadside fire. - Setting Sails individualy, so good adjustment of the speed. - Controll a whole Fleet of ships from the map menu, with many possible commands. - Enemy ships sometime surrender, if you overpower them. - Boarding fight depending on your skill and Crew. - Fight against ships and Ports, with capturing and plundering of towns (no, you can't keep them. - Great Storyline Even tough the graphic is outdated today, it is a fantastic game. Spent at least some 2000 hours of my childhood with it :-)

In my view, this is the best naval battle game ever made. If you liked "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" and want more ships, trading & more details to the naval battles, then this game is for you.

Прохожу ее раз в 3 года как PRO: - В начале, когда по сценарию ничего нельзя покупаю себе линейный корабль - Имею одного-двух капитанов - Забиваю свой линейный корабль до 600 Exel, в то время когда за каждую поездку к тебе приходят 5-15 человек - Захватываю всю испанскую троицу в плен, не даю себя потопить - К моменту, когда тебя по сценарию топят я миллионер, с линейным кораблем и еще парой в сцепке, при этом Сам топлю и захватываю всех троих. Попробуйте проходить таким образом, будет интереснее

I spend so many years with this game during childhood . . now i can at least understand the plot behind it ; ). Let me help you with most important things: save game go to church and speak with priest. If you want to follow a plot, go to the governor in bridgetown and read carefully each character text. If you don't follow their orders, for a few days, your first officer will fight you and you become a pirate. But you can always come back to bridgetown governor and start the plot. Sea battle arrows - accellerate, turn your ship ctrl + arrows - move to different part of your ship space - fire salvo alt - fire single cannon (aimed canons first) 1 - check if canons are loaded (red) or aimed (white) 2 - check how many sails you have raised tab - accellerate time (usefull, when you sailing against wind on small speed. I recommend to have only 3 sails raised, when you are doing it) 3 - check your current aimimng target enter -change your current aiming target (I reccomend holding pressing 3 all the time when you changing target c-use canconballs s - use shrapnels - small hull damage, big crew damage b use bombs - better chance to set fire on enemy ship 4 -check how shallow water is (usefull when trying to find treasure esc - escape from sea battle - in worst scenarios you need to be 6.4 cables distance from enemies to escape check all f1-f10 combinations to see what they are doing. The most usefull are: f8 - see current battle map, give orders to your ships f10 - check inventory melee combat only 4 arrows, of you press 2 arrows at once, hero will perform a little different attack if you move back, when enemy attacks, hero will perform parry

My opinion - best sailing game ever. Also - voxel graphics, really rare thing. Great music, storyline, mini-games ...

Smart and addictive game. Combines 17th Great Power diplomacy with naval combat and trade. Endless combinations, careers in loyal service as well in piracy, with martial vigour and through commercial cunning.

Старая добрая игра ,наконец то запилили ,чтобы самому в досбоксе не тыкать ,а спокойно запустил и играл,и корсары курят в сторонке , игра старая но очень продуманная , кто первый раз будет играть, инструкцию посмотрите в интернете лучше ,там много очень кнопок )
