About
Join Bubsy on a new, intergalactic, platforming adventure! Yeah, we couldn’t believe it either. The world’s most infamous, wise-cracking bobcat has returned to 3D with new challenges, new moves, and even more purrsonality – in space! Run, jump, glide, and roll across alien planets, battle robotic sheep, and collect tons and tons of yarn. What could possibly go wrong?
Bubsy’s longstanding enemies, the fleece-obsessed Woolies, have stolen all of the Earth’s sheep. Oh well, that ain’t Bubsy’s problem. Until the sheep overthrow their captors and return as deadly BaaBots, empowered by Woolie technology, determined to steal Bubsy’s most prized possession, The Golden Fleece.
With the help of his motley crew of acquaintances, Bubsy must journey through space to defeat the BaaBots and take back the Golden Fleece. Luckily, he’s acquired some new skills to navigate the expansive, craft-themed levels. Bubsy can leap, glide, claw his way up walls, and pounce off enemies. He can also puff up into a new hairball form to roll at blistering speeds.
The team at Fabraz crafted this expressive new moveset to cater to beginners and speedrun enthusiasts alike. Once you’ve mastered Bubsy’s clawsome new moves, show off your skills by uploading your best level times to the online leaderboards for other players to race against!
- Explore intergalactic, craft-themed worlds, each ending in a BaaBot boss battle
- New hairball form allows you to roll, bounce, and launch your way around
- An expressive platforming moveset supports both beginner and advanced levels of play
- Spend yarn to purrchase stylish new outfits, or collect a hidden blueprint in each level to unlock new moves and upgrades
- Tackle each level’s time trial, upload your best run, and race against other players’ ghost data

Bubsy 4D is the first game in a long line of attempted revivals that was not only serviceable, but surpassing all expectations and culminating in what's a very great video game. I knew this game would be great as soon as I heard it was developed by FABRAZ, but I didn't expect it to leave me wishing for much more than we got. Having more of the game is the only change I would want, but if you're a fan of 3D platformers then this game by all means is worth a purchase. That being said, you should be someone who likes collecting everything and 100%ing, as you might find the game too lacking in length if you're making a straight bee-line to the exit every stage. Getting all of the collectables besides trophy times the first go around had me finishing the game in roughly five and half hours. The movement and platforming is both clever and fantastic feeling, the direction Bubsy's character is taken in gives him a funny niche in the gaming world without it just being self-depreciation "look how much we suck!" humor. The level design, graphics, and music are all amazing as well. FABRAZ was on their A game with this one and it shows, amazing all around.
Even if Bubsy’s triumphant return ends all too quickly, developer Fabraz has set the stage for the mascot to celebrate a bigger and bolder adventure in the future. Couple that with a flexible array of acrobatic moves and an assortment of enjoyable challenges for completionists, Bubsy 4D is a short, safe, but satisfying 3D platformer that I can earnestly recommend to genre fans. Divertidinho.
Very short but very enjoyable! A fun new bubsy adventure with pretty cool controls! I think the level design didnt fully maximize on all the possible tech the game could have achieved but I did really enjoy my experience with it! I hope the success of this game brings us a bigger adventure someday.
it's just good
NO ♥♥♥♥ YOU ALL I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THIS "REDEMPTION"!
A historinha é bem simples. O próprio redesign do Bubsy tá ótimo.
A Bubsy game has no business being as good as this one turned to be. Sure, it is rather short and the production value is closer to an indie than a premium experience, but the gameplay is pure unadulterated fun and the game manages to make likable one of the genuine failures of the great mascot war of the 90's, a fact that the game happily plays around with. I sure hope that we'll see more of this new Bubsy in the future, as this new iteration on the character feels like the perfect setup for a true masterpiece.
The best Bubsy game in existence. The game plays kinda like Demon Turf. If you've clowned on Bubsy in the past, give this a try for sure. Wish there was more content though.
