Hey, it's been a little bit!
I know it's a bit strange for me to Email you out of the blue, but I thought you'd be interested in this. You remember that old toy? The one that was supposed to be like a pet in your keychain? The one that never got released?
Well I found it.
I was just cruising around eBay, and I found a super cheap laptop for sale. The owner acted real weird, refused to take phone calls, only let me talk to him via Email. But you know, cheap product cheap service.
Turns out the laptop had something in it already, a folder called Bubbaruka.
The name jogged so many memories, I remember begging my mom to get me one for Christmas. Never knew why they didn't release them. They would've made tons.
But It's here! Seems fully functioning, just like the commercials! I didn't start much, I rushed to Email you first. I know you're into lost media, missing games, that sort of thing. This is right up your alley, right? Still, It's a bit buggy. It definitely seems unfinished, and some of the features straight up don't seem to work, but it's a fun nostalgia trip.
Welp, I'm gonna go play the game for like, 30 minutes before I get bored and forget it exists. Talk to you later!

The toy of the modern age! Endless fun for all ages! Pick an egg, and you now have your very own Bubby! Feed it, play with it, and watch it grow! The possibilities with your Bubby are endless!
But be careful, sometimes, things might be lurking in the shadows. Don't stray too far from the path. Don't be an explorer. Don't be a hero.
There's a reason the game was never released. A reason the world isn't ready for. Don't look into it. Don't follow the whispers.
Don't peel back the curtain.
Don't solve the puzzles.
Don't go through the cracks in the surface.
Don't touch them.
Don't follow them.
Don't let them catch you.
Take heed of these warnings
Or suffer the consequences.

Lefty is 5 dollars and so is this game! (TDLR and non spoiler version: This game is absolutely amazing and you should definitely get it if you're even the least bit curious. It is criminal how underrated and under talked about this game is.) I got this game for about $3 because it was on sale. I got it not thinking much about the game, but my friend said that the game was really good, so I ended up getting it. What I experienced is now one of my favorite horror games to date. It ticks a lot of boxes for me that make horror actually scary. I've played too many horror games where they just don't scare me at all, but I'm happy to report that there were several times in which my hands were shaking, flung my keyboard a little, or my heart was going insane. I was very heavily invested in the story throughout the entire experience, it's such an interesting concept to me. The gameplay is also really good. While playing this game made me think of some of my other favorites due to how well the horror was actually executed. It reminded me of the RE series (because of the key collecting and some of the puzzles), Doki Doki Literature Club (The entire, kill off a beloved creature, then act like nothing happened at all for a bit, only to bring them back and taunt you with them), IM SCARED (The whole game kind of reminds me of it and that's a fantastic thing), and FNAF (The Miboo boss fight). This game shocked the hell out of me. When I heard it was made in RPG Maker, I reasonably thought there wouldn't be first segments, so the first time it shot me into first person I was instantly on edge, it also helps that the segments with first person were really good and super tense. I saw a comment saying how this game becomes very unfair and I have to say, I had very few experiences in which I truly thought that (The blind monster in the caves came out of the door the second I approached and I was got. The hiding segment as well felt a little jank at times, but again, it wasn't crippling to the experience in any way), but the punishment for being caught makes it mild hurdle more than anything else, so I don't really agree with that at all. Overall, this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sorcery that this was made in RPG Maker and I really look forward to the next game that this studio makes. 10/10

I cant beat the 2nd boss! :( Game is way too scary for me lol
i have no idea what kind of devil-magic went into making this work in RPG Maker, but i'm all for it
love it so much tbh idk what else to say but its a must play
Bubbaruka! is a extremely fun, interesting, and decently scary game, not gonna go into spoilers but it's interesting to see story unravel and the puzzles are extremely fun and a lot of them unique. And a lot of the horror moments genuinely got me creeped out. If you're looking for a interesting horror experience i'd highly recommend Bubbaruka! I'm really glad i found this game, and it really sucks how little people know about this hidden gem.
This game needs more light. It was an amazing horror game with only a few confusing moments, but none frustrating. Recommend
Tomo is my favorite Bubby. All the Bubbies from Bubbruka! are great in their own right, but Tomo's (T_T) Face is truly a mood. But Tomo's smile at the end of Chapter 1 is truly what left an impression on me.
A lovely little game that, despite a glitch or two during my playthrough, was the highlight of my day! I enjoyed the plot that slowly was developed throughout. There were genuinely some parts that made me jump a bit. Nothing severely terrifying to the point I couldn't sleep. Though my friend did have nightmares LOL! 9/10, extremely lovely, one day I'll figure out how to display it on my profile as my favorite even if it kills me
[strike] This game was so fun and scary and then you get to the final boss. Any fun or fear you were feeling gets replaced by annoyance as you try to beat this boss with the jankiest, most horrid controls imaginable. And on top of that, the boss just takes FOREVER. Every single attack it does it followed up by 10 seconds of the boss doing an animation and screaming, while you have to just wait and hope it does one of its attacks that can actually be reflected for damage. Overall, its just a horribly designed boss fight that makes you not care about seeing the ending. [/strike] Update: They fixed the final boss and I was able to beat it on my first retry! I'm so happy they fixed it, I finally was able to see the finale and the post game. The post game was fun, but once again it was kinda ruined by a poorly designed boss fight (why does this game need such horribly long boss fights?!)
