Not going to give a negative review because of something i missed. i purchased not seeing that is was an oculus 2 game only. Im currently running a valve index and although this game has perfect finger tracking on the knuckles..looks good in my headset-..I cannot select anything in start menus. Feels like all they need to do is add a laser pointer for the index and everything would work fine. seems like such a small fix. sadly i will have to refund this. will purchase again if it gets index support.
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my gameplay & early impressions here: https://youtu.be/JS2FS3MZ3X8 This is bar-none the best hand-tracking experience in VR. It's also one of the best walking simulators in VR. The biggest criticism I have of the game is that it's not very long. It took me about 98 minutes to complete the game. However, it's a well-told and well-paced cosmic horror / body horror narrative-driven experience. What makes this game special is the very smart use of hand-tracking. WARNING: I believe hand-tracking only works on the Meta Quest 3. I can only confirm it works using link cable. The hand-tracking here is not a gimmick, but an essential part of the story and gameplay that further immerses into the narrative. The other criticism I have of the game is that the snap turning with the thumb pointing left or right is rather cumbersome, because the degree of turn is so small. Other than that though, the hand-tracking interactions are mostly very immersive. It's the shining example of what is possible with hand-tracking. If you're a VR veteran like me, this is a must play which shows the path forward for other game devs on what is possible. The writing is excellent. The voice actors all did a great job. Game has a good soundtrack as well. If you love walking simulators, I think you'll enjoy this game. It reminded me a lot of What Remains of Edith Finch in how smart the narrative & interactions intertwined for a fully immersive experience. Rate 8/10.
I bought this game! 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀⠀

Follow Main group
Follow Second group
Follow Third group
English: Broken Spectre a game from Games by Stitch ... It could have been a great lovecraftian experience .... I'm starting to get pissed off, a sting in my broken spirit. Why the hell can't some developers manage to release a game on Steam that has at least the minimum requirements to be played on their own VR goggles. The controllers! The game even shows finger tracking in the menu. But it is not possible to operate any of the buttons with the Knuckles. To make matters worse, it is also not possible with the HTC Vive controllers. You can help yourself with some programmes. But not everyone has the hardware. So why is another game being released here that probably only works on the Quest? I'm not against people using meta glasses to shop on Steam, but indicate that the programmes are not playable with the index. Or try to implement an index control dear developers. All index users hands off, even with Vive-Wands not to start. Unbelievable. Everyone else is welcome to buy the programme from Marc. 👀Not only broken spirits🎊on my curator page. 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀⠀

Follow Main group
Follow Second group
Follow Third group
Here is my 1st impressions video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ctm5pTJjxTA I couldn't get past the menu screen. I live streamed this game recently and was stuck on the menu screen. I was using the Valve index headset. I hope they fix this soon.
This game only supports the Meta HMDs atm. It's a more a "visual" book than a real game. But it's very lovecraftian and I am a sucker for cosmic horror. I was entertained and the overall story made it very... well I won't spoil anything.
7/10 Very Linear, An Hour and a half length novel story telling. it builds up nicely to a 'gripping' climax ... then a cliffhanger ending ... the Good, Nice voice over, plain but clean graphics & BGM. the Bad, its seems to be a straight meta Quest Port with no extra PC options, Just wished it had, Super Sampling options. the Ugly, using Quest 3, the VD streamer, Steam link just doesn't work. have to use 'Air Link', and then still can't get 'hand motion' working. but as it's a gimmick hand gesture, sticking with controller works well. Overall, nice and short, a weekend movie. worth it at sale.
Cryptic Message, Mysterious Mountain, Lost Father | Broken Spectre VR Broken Spectre is a cosmic horror narrative game developed in collaboration with one of the makers of The Blair Witch Project. It takes place in an amazing looking world wrapped in mystery. What happen so many years ago? Will you find answers? Very basic walking simulator with pre determined staged teleport steps leading you forward. I was hoping for a point and click puzzle element but the rudimentary click on highlighted item that appears at point needed didn't get me using any solving skills so I was left disappointed. Giving a positive as walking sim die hards may enjoy the audio story that follows you. All done in just over an hour.
ne fonctionne pas sur mon pimax crystal 57 ppd
game does not work on steam vr. I have a quest 3. Cannot get past language select menu. I have read this is a bad port from meta OS. Buy this on metas store and play it from there! I will try and refund this.
