Простий, але доволі жорсткий арканоїд. Без прикрас: базова графіка, мінімум механік, чистий геймплей. Відбиваєш м’яч, ламаєш блоки, інколи ловиш бонуси. Гра місцями дає прикурити, помилки не прощає і змушує нормально напружитись. Як варіант "пограти щось класичне" годинку-дві - цілком ок.

Bricks Over Blocks is an unbelievably earnest game and has to be one of my favorite early-access games I've played all year! I love how nostalgic the game feels as it reminds me of a game I would play on my phone to pass the time such as Cut The Rope and Where's My Water. But more importantly, I love the fresh and creative spin it takes on the classic Arkanoid brick-breaker genre! There were definitely times when I got stuck on a level, but I kept coming back for more as it was that fun and satisfying. My favorite part of the game has to be the animation and the soundtrack! The two really added a nice creative spin to the game and I especially loved finding the little details in the animation and the music had a really nice vibe to it! Overall, this is a gorgeous little game that I can not praise enough and I can't wait to see what this team will create next!

Bricks Over Blocks is a unique twist on the brick breaker genre. I have fond memories of playing these kinds of games when I was younger, and this brought me back! The visuals are so lively with very pretty effects that are fun to look at. This pairs well with the strong gameplay feel, which gives the game a feeling of good feedback. The music was amazing as well! Very catchy tunes that are dynamic in relation to the game itself. Short but sweet!
