Brickochet

Brickochet is a clean, classic-style brick-breaker with solid paddle controls and power-ups. Unfortunately, it suffers from common genre issues: oversized levels, tiny assets, too-frequent negative power-ups (sometimes dropped right where you'd need to hit the ball), and uninspired visuals and music. Many levels are just pixel art with bricks rather than thoughtful designs. While it’s not a bad game, it feels generic and underpolished, especially compared to stronger alternatives like Shatter. Great mechanics buried under mediocre execution.

[h1] A Great "Brick Breaker" Game [/h1] If you enjoy this genre of game, this is a must-have. Classic game play with a twist, such as power ups and level design. A good amount of content for it's price. My only complaint is no controller support. Feels like that could have been included. Had some frustrating moments where I overestimated or bumped my mouse movements causing me to miss the ball. Also for these kinds of game, using a controller is a strong preference for me. Definitely recommend this game.

Use your paddle to slap your balls. Sometimes there are more than 12 balls on the screen at the one time, at which point I have to pause the game and call the local minister who will console me, and remind me that Jesus Christ died for our sins, and I can continue to paddle my balls. 10/10
