About
Breathedge 2 is a humorous survival adventure set in space, following an ordinary Man and his perfectly ordinary space problems. It’s a direct sequel to Breathedge, but don’t worry if you never played the first game: everything will be equally confusing to Breathedge veterans and complete newcomers alike.
The Breathedge Corporation unexpectedly started a galaxy-wide war, built an enormous army of Coffinbots, and attacked the largest human settlements. The Man and his faithful companion, an AI living inside his spacesuit, accidentally derailed the Corporation’s plans for a swift takeover and instantly became the number-one target of every hostile Coffinbot out there. Apparently, fate still wasn’t satisfied. Having barely survived, our heroes suddenly find themselves under attack by their own allies.
Who attacked whom? Who is Babe? Why does the Man need a Chicken? Where were we even going? And what are we supposed to do with all this duct tape? Figuring that out is now your problem.
Breathedge 2 is a story-driven adventure where exploring the world is a major part of the experience. Along the way, you’ll get to know the Man and his crew, learn more about life on the distant fringes of inhabited space, meet new characters, and gradually untangle the forces carving up the galaxy between them.
Explore abandoned stations, ruined settlements, shipwrecks, and plenty of places no reasonable person would ever think of entering. Discover other people’s stories, strange devices, useful junk, and completely useless one-of-a-kind treasures. Some discoveries will be funny, others strange or unsettling, and a few may help you understand what is actually going on and what part you have to play in it.
Hunted from every direction, the heroes of Breathedge 2 are forced to survive in some of the harshest conditions on the fringes of inhabited space. There are no 24-hour stores or banana smoothies out here, but there is an ocean of duct tape, tons of wreckage, and the Man’s remarkably capable hands, ready to turn all that garbage into surprisingly useful contraptions.
Learn new blueprints, craft tools and equipment, and upgrade both your gear and your spacesuit. Repair and dismantle machinery, gather resources, find ways into inaccessible places, and venture farther and farther from anything resembling safety. Out in open space, you’ll need to keep an eye on your oxygen, temperature, and various other little details capable of bringing your adventure to a premature end. Occasionally, you’ll also have to fight, run away, and shove aside the bodies of less fortunate astronauts.
Breathedge 2 is currently in Early Access and is still actively being developed. At the start of Early Access, the game includes its first major story chapter, a large area to explore, and its core gameplay systems. The story is not yet complete, parts of the world are still inaccessible, and some systems will continue to grow and evolve throughout development.
During Early Access, we plan to release major updates that continue the story and add new areas, mechanics, characters, items, and other features. At the same time, we may continue refining existing content, balance, UI, performance, and fixing issues as they are discovered.
Player feedback is an important part of this process. We’re incredibly grateful for your support and for all the comments that give us both inspiration and a fresh perspective on the game. Please keep sharing your feedback with us wherever you can. It helps us make Breathedge 2 even better.

Great game! Will be playing they updates as soon as they are out.
Игра класс, но весь контент пока что проходится на одном дыхании за день( Надеюсь, что следующие главы будут не ниже качеством (и поскорее, ну это все хотят)
I got to the end of the early access chapter 1 and I feel very meh about what I just played, and sort of relieved it's over tbh. If it's just going to be 2 more repeats of the first chapter experience, I'm not sure it'll even be worth coming back to when it's finished. I give it a 3/10 since I got a weekend out of it and I tend to like these types of games. In retrospect I probably got around $5 worth of entertainment, but even that's a stretch tbh. It's not a $10 game at this point, which I get is the purpose of early access, but if I could go back in time I'd wait to buy. Every system in the game is just puddle deep right now. No base building, automation, crafting is there but there are like 15 things to make total. The side quests are basically all "find 5 floating objects and get a steam achievement" - by the third one the novelty of that setup had worn off. The engine ran pretty smooth, I did have one cover plate get stuck inside another object that just makes a terrible banging noise when I float past it, but that was the only jank I experienced, so I give the game credit for running pretty well, felt pretty polished in that aspect. The voice acting is a serious problem lol. Trying to move around the area with the simon says stop robot was like an attack on my ears "Freeze don't move". The suit voice was annoying, but the facility robot had the most annoying voice actor and lines hands down. I don't know if it's even salvageable, at this point I don't know if it's the writing or the acting, but I think it's probably both. Whatever overarching story the creator has in mind for this game, I don't think it's going to be worth the meandering road it'll take to get there. In this genre if you aren't playing this type of game for the story, you need systems of upgrades and buildings, or lots of points of interest to explore. There is just a real lack of game to play here, it's lacking in just about every category. I'd be surprised if it's shapes up to a decent launch in 16-20 months at this point.

I know people said this isn't that much different from the beta which is not true kinda, the same content and ending is there but there is definitely more content than the beta, the change in voice lines to the first batch was a quickfix but I hope they bring back the VA from Breathedge 1, he really makes the game iconic, he's our version of cl4ptrap and I don't want the same tragedy that happened in trashbox with randy bitchfork as lead, ruined a iconic brand and story, not the place to rage about that franchise. I hope RedRuins keeps making the same jokes even if some people dislike it, we the fans cherish the small details and the corny humor. I've waited since the last game finished for a sequel and I'm not disappointed, can't wait for more to come. Also maybe add the ding sound every time we find something new like a blueprint, it's also something I loved about the first game, I'm never sure when I find a new blueprint most of the time but it could be that I don't pay attention. The atmosphere of the game still remains one of the strong points of it, you feel like you're in space through all the dialogue which will eventually as the map gets bigger be a longer stretch of silence as you travel. I'm definitely hyped for the vehicles we're being teased about, please give them proper storage so we don't have to mod the game, especially the car, like it has a backpack area or idk let us throw ♥♥♥♥ in the passenger seat or the seats behind us. One last thing, the weapons in the first game were clunky to use and didn't really feel great to use, maybe more works should go into that if we'll have to use that against the cop bots.

An amazing step up from Breathedge 1 even if it's still a survival craft grind. Problem right now is the obvious, Early Access. The game has about 4-5 hours of content so I suggest waiting for the full release.
