Brawl Tactics: Origins

it's fun but the game currently crashes a lot.

Game is pretty early in development, but that doesn't make it a bad game. Uses a lot of mechanics, icons and other things from the Dev's other game. Absolutely love the other game though and if anything it helps me be more familiar with parts of the game already. I've played a lot of roguelikes and tactical games, but this scratches an itch none of the other of those games do. Absolutely loving the game so far and very much looking forward to playing more.

UI is a mess. Not for me, definitely.

As other reviews have mentioned, the current amount of content is a little low. This leads to the first few runs seeming a tad grindy until the more specialized classes are unlocked. That said, the dev has shown before to utilize early access to its fullest. There is a constant flow of new cards, enemies, trinkets and whatnot being added, player feedback is being heard and incorporated, and bugs are fixed asap. The game is functional and it's fun to play around with what is already there. There is every reason to believe that it is going to grow and polish immensely during early access, and I can't believe the dev actually went and pushed out a hotfix to a crashing issue I experienced less than an hour after I reported it. There is real passion behind this game.

Solid game so far, and proactive developer. It's the complement to Baldur's Gate 3: a short, defined and enjoyable tactics only game.

Уже в первом прохождении бои очень быстро наскучивают своим однообразием и очень медленным темпом, реиграбельность не спасает. пока что не стал бы рекомендовать.

Super cool game. Can't really review it after a few hours, but I know the Dev's work and it's going to be awesome !
