I wasn't expecting much from this game the first time I opened it, I thought it would just be a funny game I could play while I was stressed out, and now I'm so freaking sad I finished. I don't have many bad things to say. It's a date simulator game with dungeons, the story is cute, and I love how the dungeons and weapon-people are involved in the story. Though I did really wish I could have changed the option to be friends or lovers for a character in the middle, I feel so bad for friend-zoning Leah, she is so funny and amazing. I loved this game more than I should have, and I wish it had a continuation, but it was fun, very much fun. I would totally play it again another time. I totally recommend it if you want to have one day of just silly, endearing games.
Girls, Gays, and Theys, behold a lovely Otome with actual fighting. A poly pansexual dream, you can romance all the people, all the genders, and make friends with a cat. Some weapon/people are harder to wield, but I think that's just my lack of skill. Otome lover? Put this one on your list. Rowan, Seven, Jonah, TI AMO MUCHO...cherry on top is the soundtrack. Can I get a DL, devs?
Easy rec from me. I played the game on xbox years ago and just picked it up on steam for another playthrough. If you like visual novels, dating sims, roguelites, and dungeon crawlers, this game is all four. Music is good, fighting mechanics are simple enough to easily switch between all playable weapons and still feel intuitive and not like you need to relearn the game every time, dungeons are well designed and balanced. I'm enjoying the art style and the dialogue is fine, no super long cut scenes and not super grindy in any capacity. It's 10x more fun if you swing all ways (or pretend to), but you can still get a full maxed out playthrough being asexual in every interaction you have. There's also a cat. Good game 10/10
I have mixed feelings about this game. The actual gameplay was seamless and fun. The love interests were mostly good, although the quality and content of each varied greatly. However the late introductions of many of the love interests made things feel unbalanced. I also really liked the idea of many of the difficult themes expressed [spoiler]such as not everyone is capable of change[/spoiler] which were really interesting to see. But others, specifically how the game dealt with [spoiler]an actual stalker who kidnapped, harassed, and was verbally abusive to you and other characters[/spoiler] was dealt with very poorly. I do not get easily upset by dialogue or characters, but I was truly disturbed by this character and had to take frequent breaks when I first started playing because I felt so unnerved by it. The game ending was also super abrupt, especially in relation to that character. So I will give this a recommend, but tentatively.
Ich komme immer wieder auf das Game zurück. Es gibt immer doch noch eine Kleinigkeit zum anders machen im nächsten run und ich glaze einfach den Sound vom Lichtschwert. Als DatingSim ist das Spiel auch nicht zu unterschätzen. Eine absolute Empfehlung
