A pretty great game i must say, had fun playing it.
Bouncers is a really fun game with great features, including having the option to move with WASD (Or Arrow Keys) and mouse cursor, it also has functional leaderboards for ever single game difficulty and the UI design is Amazinggg.
Graphics? Just the necessary/10 Check if u can run your OS properly Gameplay? 9/10 It's REALLY intense and fast XD. Newcomers can take some time to get used but it's so fun when you know what you are doing in the middle of the chaotic gameplay from this game XD Sound? 9.5/10 Really cool SFX and Sticky BGMs but some people might think a bit repetitive, idk if u think like that, Its good LOL Time Killer? 10/10 Sometimes you can REALLY lost track of how much time you've spent in some sessions in this game XD Overall: 9.75/10 :D This game REALLY deserve your "Test Drive" lol

*Bouncers* is a retro-styled, single-player action game that revolves around simple but addicting gameplay: avoid enemies, climb the leaderboard, and see how long you can last as the screen fills up with bouncing obstacles. At its core, the game is about quick reflexes and survival, with the added thrill of climbing up through the ranks as you dodge increasingly difficult enemies. The gameplay starts off easy enough, with just one "Bouncer" (the main enemy) bouncing around randomly on the screen. As your score increases, the challenge ramps up as more enemies—like the asteroid and the Thief—start to appear. Each enemy comes with its own unique mechanics, such as the Thief speeding up and taking your points, or the Asteroid tracking you, forcing you to juke it out. The action is fast-paced, and you’ll constantly be on your toes as enemies multiply, making survival all the more challenging as you progress. One of the standout features of *Bouncers* is its "slow motion" mechanic. When an enemy gets close, the game enters slow motion, helping you make more precise dodges. It’s a satisfying feature that adds some intensity and tactical thinking to the game. You can also collect power-ups like extra lives, shields, and speed boosts to help you last longer and improve your chances of surviving the onslaught. The visual style is intentionally minimalistic and retro, which works in the context of the game but might not appeal to everyone. It's not about intricate designs or flashy graphics; instead, the focus is purely on the gameplay itself. You can toggle features like rainbow-colored Bouncers for a bit of extra flair, but the aesthetic is definitely on the simpler side. For all the fun the game offers, though, it's important to note that *Bouncers* is very much a "get in, play for a while, and get out" kind of game. The challenge comes from seeing how long you can last and how high you can climb on the leaderboard, which can be great for a quick pick-up-and-play session. However, it’s not a game that will necessarily keep you hooked for long stretches, especially if you prefer more depth or a longer narrative. The developer’s journey is also a cool part of this game’s story. What started as a high school project turned into a polished game with constant updates, improved mechanics, and upgraded graphics. The fact that it was made with passion and learning along the way adds a personal touch to the experience. If you're looking for something simple, fast-paced, and free (especially now that it's been released for no cost), *Bouncers* is worth a try. Just don’t expect it to be a game that will provide hours of gameplay; instead, it’s a fun little challenge to see how good you are at dodging and climbing the leaderboard. If you enjoy quick, high-score chasing action, this game has you covered—just don’t expect it to reinvent the wheel.
