Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Boulder Dash 40th Anniversary strikes the perfect balance between preserving its nostalgic roots while offering a new experience. The updated graphics provide a new look, so the game is even better today than it was back in the arcades. The inclusion of 60 classic levels from the original trilogy gives a journey down memory lane. There are six entirely new worlds, each with fresh mechanics like enemy generators. There are 120 new levels, along with an editor and community content. This mix of classic and new elements makes this a remarkable tribute. Players can now choose between three heroes, each with different traits. Composer Chris Hülsbeck, known for other popular game soundtracks, enhances the gameplay, making every moment in this anniversary celebration something remarkable. None of my controllers work in this game. Keyboard input doesn't work either! This Game is SCAM!
Amazing, I've been playing BD1-2 since the 80s. I also like the new levels a lot. I hope they release some extra levels packs. NO ONE's, ARNO, ...
comment faire bouger le petit bonhomme ? Quelles touches ?
This is one of my favourite games from my childhood. It was the Commodore 64 version I played. This is a decent update to the game. It has a bunch of new levels as well as a selection of favourites from previous games. Lastly, we have the first three games revamped for the new engine. It is a little basic graphically. I would have preferred they kept to a 2D world rather than moving to 3D. The music and sound effects can also be a little cheesy. However the gameplay is great. I would suggest using the D-Pad or keyboard to play, as you need a fair amount of precision to get those high scores.
Love Boulderdash I have the 30th Anniversary edition also. That version has more graphic options than this one and runs smoother on old hardware (Intel HD4000). This 40th Anniversary edition has absolutely no graphics options at all. That being said, it shouldn't be a demanding game graphically anyway. I can't get a good framerate which makes it less smooth when playing - eye strain material. I'll stick to the 30th anniversary which is much smoother and easy on the eye for me. I still recommend this game (though it is a bit pricey), it's a fantastic game, always has been. Just dont get it if you have low end hardware - even though its Boulderdash! perhaps its poorly optimised. Dev's, at least add some graphic settings for that price !?!!?!?? Refunded.
The game I've missed a lot. New caves are interesting, have the spirit of original game (one of the best game of my childhood: BD1, Atari). Still entertaining, relaxing and challenging now in 2025. Respect to the developers and of course to Peter Liepa for this masterpiece.
