i wish this was a dlc in the actual game itself than a separate game because it's exactly what i wanted out of a dlc. it expands on all the characters (even the non love interests), provides an overarching plot, has its own subplots that feel 1. realistic (well as realistic as serial killer best friends can get) and 2. FLUID. small stories get strung up along in the main story without feeling too rushed, bloated, or like they were just put in there for the sole sake of inflating the word count. i've read professionally published and edited books that struggled with that sort of plotting and this game accomplishes it in a dialogue-heavy chatsim. it still bounces around your love interest route from the start (and my personal favorite is that it lets you choose how sappy or toned-down friends with your love interest). it's much better paced in a way that there's still an overarching main, linear route, but it still has its branching offshoots to focus on the specific love interests. i know this takes a lot more time and work to get properly going so it's impressive that the team managed to put that out. it's just overall such a step up from the original game while also having its own identity. it hit the two main flaws i saw with the base game and improved upon it: that the story felt rushed and there were too many characters with not enough time, and that it couldn't decide if it was a dating sim or not. genuinely masterful skilled writing from rosesrot and the team. i'm glad i gave this a chance and i hope to see more like it in the future.

yes yes yes!! a killer chat christmas is an absolute must play if you enjoyed killer chat original (and overkill!). it isn't a just a little side episode. you'll actually learn more about the past, about the relationships between the slaughterhouse members, even in moments when you're not involved, which i really loved. and of course, you get to spend more time with your faves... for better or for worse. give them christmas presents! do a little manipulation in an Ugliest (Aka Most Awesome) Christmas Sweater contest. be SILLY. i played through Misaki's route, and THEY'RE SO SWEET, i adore them. honestly, what better time is there to play this than Christmas?

I love this so much, it's lovely to spend Xmas with totally normal people

so much lore for the Killers in this game and the game itself so sweet! if you enjoyed the original game you'll love the continuation

Another smash hit in the Killer Chat! universe. I absolutely can't get enough of this franchise.

Absolutely recommended if you enjoyed the base game and overkill dlc!

неплохой сиквел, чтобы вновь окунуться в атмосферу любимого сервера с убийцами. да коротковато, да по цене полноценной новеллы, но.. если действительно хочется разделить больше моментов с этими дурилками, то почему нет? тем более, когда есть возможность превратить всё это into another xmas tragedy y’all…
