Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced

El primer Borderlands, nostalgia pura. No ha envejecido mal, pero las mecánicas y la jugabilidad se sienten un tanto primitivas, al igual que el mapeado que hace que te quedes atascado en algún recoveco o en alguna roca. Ya me había pasado y reseñado la versión "normal", y tenía que hacer lo mismo con éste, junto con sus dlcs. En cuanto al tema de las armas, al final es mejor abrir cofres de código, porque looteando durante el juego las armas son bastante cutres, y es bastante difícil que aparezca una que te solucione la papeleta. Los DLCs no están mal, pero son variados en calidad, no mantienen el mismo estándar. Por ejemplo el del coliseo, tiene buen diseño gráfico y de texturas, pero al final resulta repetitivo y un poco tedioso. En definitiva, si eres un amante de la saga, merece la pena volver a pasarte el primero, con texturas, "actualizado" y con los dlcs.

Lots of fun, mad graphics, crazy driving, wicked villains, insane weapons. What's not to like? If you are a new gamer or an old but rusty had, this is a lot of fun. Not overly complicated and plenty to keep you on your toes.

A part les bugs du type le sucées de Sanguine pour Mordecaï se déclenche que si le jeu n'est pas en français. Que le jeu crashe si je minimise la fenêtre pendant les chargements. Le launcher est inutilisable (mais optionnel), sauf pour lancer le jeu (ouf !) Et que le multi est mort (bonne chance pour 100% le jeu) J'ai quand même apprécié le jeu, ce n'est pas la plus grosse histoire mais pour de tirer dans le tas après une mauvaise journée, je recommande. Plus les personnages sont parfois drôles. Et la VF est très bonne !

This game starts out really hard to get through. Most of it was hiding behind cover or being instakilled by enemies up until about level 20. After that the game feels way better. It shows its age but if you look past that it has some genuinely fun and funny moments. DLCs are extremely weak, especially Dr. Ned, which is extremely short and the majority of the time I spent on it was doing a filler joke mission collecting around 500 brains total. General Knoxx is mainly driving back and fourth between 3 major destinations while the game throws enemies at you to stop you from doing that and destroying your car, from which you will need to run to the Catch a Ride about 5 minutes away from where your car was destroyed. I cant remember the name of the claptrap DLC, but it is honestly more of Dr. Ned reskinned missions and all. This includes yet another collectathon of around 500 Claptrap parts for Tannis where your reward is....a robot Tannis. The one redeeming thing about this DLC is the somewhat decent boss rush at the very end. Overall I wouldn't have it any other way and if you are the right kind of mentally ill you will enjoy this game as I have.

People love to call Borderlands 1 "the boring borderlands," but I actually really dig the dry atmosphere and humor of the first game. Characters are way less loud and obnoxious. The world is less colorful, and a lot more grounded. That being said, Borderlands 1's story is basic and still hard to get engaged with while being basic. It's a very mid story, but not offensively so. Especially when gems like the the DLC: The Secret Armory of General Knoxx exist. That's a much more interesting story, and once you've chewed through the main story, go give that a shot before throwing in the towel. Borderlands 1 helps explain the earliest image of the Borderlands universe that existed, and hones in the elements that got modified in Borderlands 2, and entirely lost by Borderlands 3.
