I would definitely recommend the original vanilla base game, but the GOTY Enhanced Edition adds a lot of issues, from memory leaks to graphical problems, crashes, and soft locks. The game itself is great overall. The artsytle, enemy and level designs are genius, especially in the early and late stages of the game. Around "the middle of nowhere" the level design unfortunately becomes stale and more of a nuisance due to confusing and repetitive layouts and boring level designs, where some end up just being one long corridor. This makes backtracking especially frustrating, also because you can’t track multiple quests at once. The different weapons are all fun, and it never really gets stale to switch and try new ones. There are many viable builds and playstyles. The characters, writing, and story are interesting, and I especially love the atmosphere and world building, it is more grimy and gritty while not taking itself too seriously. I feel like the sequels miss the mark here, trying to be more edgy and humorous, which backfires. Some characters like Claptrap became extremely obnoxious and unbearable in the second game, whereas I actually had some sympathy for him in the first. I am always critical towards the practice and additon of DLC content in games and I also felt like it wasn't really necessary for this game. Claptrap's revolution and Dr. Ned Zombie Island was alright, nothing that I'd get out of my way to recommend but nothing I majorly disliked aswell, while Mad Moxxi's Underdome was utter garbage and General Knoxx Secret Armory majorly wasn't fun to play through. All in all, I definitely recommend the original base game. The standard GOTY edition also seems fine and playable, but I wouldn’t recommend most of the DLCs, and I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to get the Enhanced version, since it adds more issues and headaches, than actual content. They also didn't do themselves no favour with the changes in terms of service almost two decades after the relase... Original base game: 9.4/10 recommended GOTY edition: -/- didn't play GOTY Enhanced: 6/10 not recommended
Borderlands 1, Absolutes Kino
macht Spass
Never played the first one up until recently. It's very different weapon wise and other features. But overall I recommend it
A great start of a franchise that defines the spearhead of looter/shooters. It has a great environment but leans on the side of no frills, but memorable characters keep you around for the 2nd game (blockbuster game that cracks the franchise to 11),
Clasico y bastante bien optimizado
I grew up playing this game on xbox 360 when it first came out. It was awesome back in 2009 and its still awesome story to play through today in 2026!

Classic redefined but has its jankyness and issues with memory leaks (randomly) but undeniably a classic game with charm. started a legacy that's a unquestionable part of FPS lore with plentiful guns and combinations and all DLC included (Good luck with the claptrap DLC and the collectaphon) I'd recommend it but on discount as it's quite a old game but still worth a look.
