It's entertaining for a few hours but then you start to run into some significant bugs, like vehicles being stuck/unusable. That may or may not have made me not recommend the game but I also don't see anything from the developer since January, and in some of the posts he's talking about updates in the next week or two, which have apparently never come. In all fairness I haven't checked the discord server or bothered to post because I've looked at half a dozen discussion posts and none of them have anything from him newer than january. Seems like the game may be at a dead end.
This was a good game when it was launched. I supported the dev and purchased it in Early Access. There were a few updates but then after a few months, radio silence. The game is now abandoned with no new updates for over a year and the developer website offline. The developer has stopped doing daily Twitch broadcasts so all evidence says the game is abandoned. It was good at the time. A nice alternative to a Satisfactory type game and had a lot of promise. Unfortunately for whatever reason it's gone to the graveyard of abandoned games on Steam.
Boppio... Well where to start this review. I like the game. I like it due to the relaxed atmosphere of game play. So far I have been having fun and while there are a few issues or bugs here or there it has been well done so far. I would like to see a bit different approach to view perspectives but that's a personal choice not a game issue. There have been a few negative reviews as of late however none of them have allowed comments and therefore those comments are irrelevant. Those without the backbone to stand by and / or defend their claims carry no weight at all. Simply cowards attempting to discredit a developer who has, in my opinion, been forthcoming with details, resolutions, and fixes. For those of you hiding behind the "comments off" option; are you afraid? Afraid of valid and accurate responses? Lets make this a true discussion and rating of the game... So, a few more hours in and I still recommend the game. There are some significant bugs still but there seems to be a desire to rectify these issues with the dev. Most of the issues are like supply transfer and such which I know is being worked on. This game is like a smaller and much less detailed version of Satisfactory. Nothing wrong with that. Glad I bought the game and I am happy to support this dev as he puts in the effort where he needs to.
Abandonware
Just a poor quality clone of Factorio, that is riddled with bugs even as a v1.0 release. It's not even that long, a first playthrough will take you ~6 hours.
Abandonware. Buggy at times. Do Not purchase. Developer of this game abandoned it back in 2022 and isn't active on here or in discord. This is 2024 and I made the mistake of buying it. It is a fun game but fluid pipes won't attach to stackers (very important as your chr has no jump function). The vehicle itself is buggy (will get stuck and not move, you'll have to restart game). There is no way to lick a tube into the middle of a tube. You have to use expensive storage chests to create multiple connections and you only get 4 conns per chest. Most items craft fast butu the motor is extremely slow in crafting. This game on the official steam app is the same version as the one you DL for free at a certain "unlocked" site.
I don't understand how this is a released version instead of early access. The tech tree only has about 20 techs on it. There's no real tutorial and you're on your own to try to figure things out. The stack size for everything appears to be 8! The map is extremely small, there's no exploration factor at all. I know this is an inexpensive game by a single developer, but calling this finished and moving on is an insult to everyone who paid any money at all for it. Hard pass on this one, I wish I hadn't waited more than two weeks to try it so that I could get my money back.
Games seems abandoned by developer
Good base building game but unfortunately it's not finished and it looks like it's been abandoned so not really worth buying. Shame because it looks like it could have become a very good game.
