Bookbinding – Dark Cozy Sim

Great game! There has been a few problems yes but the overall mechanics and the creative freedom of the game is what I really love!

I played the DEMO and thought it was fun, turns out the full game was even better. All of the characters had such unique stories and roles to play. The story has a good premise and idea to it, though I do wish it had continued to go even more in depth into the plot. It felt almost as if every subplot was very shallow, and leaves much undiscovered (perhaps it has to do with the choices I made though, of course). The game ends quite abruptly and unexpectedly in my opinion. It felt as if the second half of the story was missing, and was just summarized by each characters end card instead of actually playing through the ending. Which, sometimes is a nice way to wrap things up. But unfortunately in this case, felt more like an unfinished game. There were a few misspellings, and a few times when my character would be accused of choosing an option earlier in the game that I know I had not chosen. Still, as I said- the story has wonderful characters and plot structure! The book cover designing is lovely, and you get to take your time being as creative as you want. It's quite relaxing. Though sometimes it was a bit glitchy with title and original art transferring. Overall, It was worth the play for sure, kept me invested, and had an intriguing storyline. Perhaps I'll even play through again and make different choices, or have a friend of mine play it so I can watch the choices they make haha. If you are debating getting this game, I would say yes. The lore is very interesting and fun to discover more of as you progress through the game. : ) EDIT: I just read that the developers are going to fix the endings with a big update soon. I am so excited! I will definitely be back to check out all of the improvements once they are released. ^.^

I really enjoyed it, however it came to such an abrupt ending it was disapointing. Especially with no easy to find information about future updates with dates. I would have preferredto pay more and receive a fully completed game

Very good game! Interesting storyline and characters. I just wish it was longer! There's so much more I want to do in the game!

I would say the visual novel part is pretty solid, but I would definitely wait and see if they add more content/more endings. I did like the game as it was, even though when I played it (day 1 of release) a few bugs were a bit annoying. Creator says they already patched a bunch, so I wish to give them the benefit of just released. For the creation part, similar to other reviews, it is not the strongest, but I definitely still could enjoy it. Overall, I liked my experience and I would recommend it. I would say the game is definitely worth it, especially if the creator keeps listening this well.

A relatively solid visual novel with light gameplay elements and multiple routes. The characters are artfully well-crafted, you'll enjoy getting to know them better - or don't, the choice is up to you. The story is OK - there is no big ADHD moment or plot twist (which IS cozy, I guess) - and the relationships built along the way are worthwhile, even if It does end kind of abruptly, which is at least is better than overstaying its welcome. Looking forward to DLCs in the future, as I feel like it's nicely set up for them.

I love the art style and the soundtrack. Story keeps you second guessing if you made the right choice. Love it.
