Reviews
Some people say that the game tackles the subject without proper understanding or empathy. It just throws you in at the deep end, saying, “Look, look what’s happening.” Without much depth. “What’s the point? What's the point in showing that” There is no point, there is no humanization, no depth, there is no point. And while I understand where that perspective comes from, I disagree with it. Because that’s what is it like. Good game.
В это физический больно играть и хочется бросить в самое ближайшее время, но стоит дать игре шанс как можно увидеть глубокий смысл в жёстком бытовом сюжете о домашнем насилии и немом крике жертв. Достойный бытовой хоррор!

This is a VERY hesitant thumbs up. The game’s handling of CSA and domestic abuse often feels amateurish and overly blunt, with some sections completely failing as horror or meaningful storytelling
(seriously, that hallway chase section??)
. That said, it has flashes of real creativity and emotional depth that make the heavier themes hit harder, and at just $2.99 it’s worth experiencing for those strong moments assuming you can handle its heavy themes. Phenomenal environmental storytelling!!
fake deep surface level shock value child rape ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
залез 8 летней девочке в дырочку
Ах вот где раскрыли тему домашнего насилия...Ну понятно ребята, absolute game. У меня даже нос защипало от концовки, спасибо что таким образом поднимаете важные темы
Utterly traumatic. I should've heeded the disclaimer a little more. Besides that, this is a very real and dark depiction of horrible things that can happen to regular people.
For how short the story is, it tells you everything you need to know about the protagonist and his dark past. This story touches on themes such as abuse, alcoholism, and other traumatic experiences I'd rather not state (just play it yourself tp find out). The protagonist is practically rotting away, doing the same boring routine he does every day while simultaneously reliving his past life through guilt ridden flashbacks. At first it makes it seem like the neighbor is the real monster, but as you play through the game you begin to understand that it was you that was the monster all along.
Overall, I feel like this game portrayed a different kind of horror very well. It is not the typical horror game that puts you up against jump scares or being chased by a scary creature. Instead you see the horrors of reality and their very real affect to yours or another's mental health. I'd like to reiterate the ending to this game and tell everyone that it is okay to speak up if you see abuse or if it is happening to you. There's always going to be someone who can help you.
